Don't get me wrong here, this is a nice hotel, and somewhere I always try and stay at when I come to Falmouth (I have business here and a daughter at university too, so come quite often). The rooms are comfortable, the food is good, there are great views of the sean and Gylly beach from some of the rooms... More

Came here for a wedding , and from start to finish it was not good!! Not very organised the service at the bar is so bad , if you order a drink Saturday , you may get it by Tuesday !! , and I saw one of the bedrooms and was shocked how much this person paid , I certainly... More

I did not plan to book a luxury hotel. A conference organising committee did that on my behalf. Ordinarily I dislike luxury hotels because they offer intrusive service and make it difficult to do anything on my own, including make tea. (At a Four Seasons in Toronto, one had to order a carafe of tea from room service and pay... More

We arrived in the rain, having been dropped off by coach on the seaward side of the hotel, as we were wending our way through the dripping trees up the path to the entrance I realised this was the hotel we were booked into later in the year for a friends 70th birthday bash week-end. As you enter the hotel... More

With just one night booked we arrived at St Michaels at around 4 o'clock. The car park isn't particularly large but even at this time of day there were places to be had. First impressions are good, an attractive reception with nautically themed decor which looks recently done. The nautical colours and theme continue throughout the hotel the pale blue and... More

I stayed there for the Tall ships event. Yes, the hotel was full and service was under pressure but they did cope with it very well. Location, garden, rooms, dinner at the restaurant were all excellent. I will return again and will recommend to all friends and family

Our Daughter got married at St Michael on 29th August, tall ships weekend! I was worried that because the hotel would be busy they may not give the attention to detail that I wanted for this so important day! I should not have worried - the team of professional staff could not have looked after us better if we had... More

We spent a Sunday night here to allow the oil on our wood floor to dry after it's annual treatment. This also happened to coincide with the Tall Ships race which was a brilliant sight to see. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were without exception friendly and very helpful, the food was lovely and we enjoyed our swim... More

This was the second time my partner and I have stayed at this hotel our previous visit was June 2014. The hotel is expensive compared with other hotels in Falmouth. The other hotel worth considering is the Green bank which is a better hotel all-round but lacks a swimming pool and indoor spa. The indoor swimming pool is a great... More

Have stayed at this hotel 3 times now and each time enjoyed it. Its a very relaxing place and comfortable for a woman to stay on her own. The staff are mostly young and very polite and want to help you, some of the reviews I have read that say about rude staff and bad restaurant food I feel as... More
