The Guest House appears on the street map to be closer to the High Street and harbour than it actually is. Yes, as the gull flies it's close. But as a previous reviewer said, Falmouth is hilly, so be prepared for a steep descent into town and of course ascent back again. If you're prepared to tackle a further climb... More

Gill made us very welcome from the moment we arrived. The bedrooms and ensuite shower rooms were very well appointed and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, which is a big plus for me as I suffer from back ache if the beds are not up to standard. Breakfast was served round a big table in the... More

We stayed at the Guest House for four nights over Easter and would highly recommend it. Gill is very welcoming and provides excellent freshly cooked breakfasts and a lovely fresh fruit smoothie. The situation is very convenient although Falmouth is very hilly!

Really comfy B&B. You are left to your own devices, offered the extensive DVD library and breakfast has some great simple options - e.g. a fresh fruit smoothie! Also great location and lovely house. Using the B&B as doing a project locally - but felt like i was on a mini-holiday. Will return.

We stayed in the attic room, which was immaculate and offered wonderful views. We would certainly recommend it.

Our 2 night stay in the spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated Chinese Room was faultless. Our hosts, Gill and Dave were welcoming and guided us to wonderful area sights and restaurants (The Wheelhouse Crab & Oyster Bar-Falmouth, Porthminster Beach Cafe-St.Ives) within walking distance . Breakfast was excellent. We recommend The Guest House B & B.

The Guest House is a very welcoming and comfortable home in an attractive and traditional part of town. This is most certainly one of the best B&Bs that we have stayed in. Views from the Attic Room across the town and estuary are superb. The Chinese Room is spacious, with beautiful decoration and furnishings. The town and sea are a... More

I came with my 14 year old twins for 2 nights between Christmas and New Year 2011. We stayed in the Attic room and the single room. The place was perfect and the hosts extremely welcoming and kind. The heating broke down and couldn't be repaired til the next day. Gill told us this before we even realised and immediately... More

We spent two very enjoyable nights at the Guest House. We stayed in the Chinese room which was spacious and immaculately clean. Gill was very welcoming and provided an excellent breakfast, made from local produce. We will definitely be coming back, and would strongly recommend staying here. Margaret and Richard
