A place where you feel at home- with a homely kitchen, lounge area with fire place and a very relaxed and friendly host with good advice about the area. Beach 2 min walk away and the town 5 min walk. WIFI, a free piece of toast and tea in the morning, very clean. Parking outside and not too far to... More

Part of a group of SCUBA divers staying over Easter, Judi made us all feel really welcome. Rooms clean, beds comfortable. Kitchen a little cramped when all trying to prepare food at once but that's the only minor problem. Me and my wife were so impressed we stopped a further two days.

Lovely location, 3 minutes walk from train station; 2 minutes walk from beach, about 5 minutes walk from town centre. Great place. Stupid paying more money for a hotel. I'd really love to stay here again in the future

We loved our stay here! It was so lovely and homely. We met some cool friends here. It wasn't like staying in a hostel- it was like staying in a bed and breakfast. Very central and close to the beach as well!!

Only spent one night but felt very welcome by the owner and would defiantly use it again. Shower was warm and the bed clean and comfortable. It is also only a short walk to the town and sea front. There is no curfew so you can enjoy the Cornish night air and not worry about when you return

The perfect place to forget about the daily grind and unwind in the clean comforts of Falmouth Lodge. The situation was just right with the town a short walk away but just far enough out to be able to have a quiet nights sleep. It was good to have the choice of eating out or using the cooking facilities and... More

I spent a week here while I was studying at the University and as soon as I stepped through the front door I knew that I had chosen the right place. Warmth, cosiness and a very friendly and comfortable atmosphere greeted me, along with the lovely personable owner who lives on the premises and keeps the place spick and span.... More

Had a fantastic week at Falmouth Lodge Backpackers end of August 2012. Myself and a friend wanted a good central base for a weeks kitesurfing in Cornwall. Couldn't have asked for a better location really, within half an hour are several beaches on the north coast and several on the south which means that for any particular wind direction you... More

I can definitely recommend this place! Rudi, the "host" woke up late, with a friendly welcome, to get me checked in. Toast and cereals with tea and coffee were inclusive of price. It's only a few minutes walk from a very clean beach. What a way to start the morning. Bit to cold for me to swim though:-) Once I'd... More
