I've stayed at the backpackers for a few days a week for four weeks now, and every time it is a pleasure to be there. All the other guests are friendly, the complimentary breakfast is simple but fantastic all the same (it means I never had to buy provisions), and the atmosphere is very relaxed. To top it off, it's... More

Despite having been going to Falmouth for many years and being a keen youth hosteller I have never stayed at Falmouth Lodge. Judi was very welcoming and the place was clean and comfortable. A simple breakfast of toast and tea is provided which means not having to faff about buying fresh milk and other provisions.I didn't cook but there is... More

I lived in Falmouth for three years whilst studying at Uni, and had no idea this place existed! Turned out to be such a good find- I stayed in a shared room, which was such amazing value for money. The rooms are so clean and comfortable, the owner is lovely and welcoming and you even get toast, tea and coffee... More

I stayed for just one night, I was on a budget as usual and was planning to camp but I knew there would be a storm, so I booked into the hostel last minute. it has a lovely hippy vibe to it and is very clean, I was surprised to see there was free tea and coffee and even some... More

Just spent a week here with my son. Totally chilled atmosphere thanks to the lovely owner Judi. Accomodation is homely, clean and although showing some signs of wear here and there it really doesn't matter. We stayed in the attic room with en-suite as I am too old for dorms........ Well equipped kitchen and comfortable communal sitting room. International guest... More

I booked a single occupancy at the last minute and was given the attic room which was superb. (I'm not unfriendly, I just don't sleep well!)There is a comfy double bed and two singles plus a futon, so I imagine you could fit in a whole family or group with no problem. The attic room has its own roomy shower... More

Judi the host was very helpful. Our family of four stayed in one of the 6 bunk dorm rooms the first night and though the beds were comfortable, slept poorly because one of the other guests in our room had a very loud, constant snore! The next day, she moved him to another room. I think he appreciated the privacy... More

The Falmouth Lodge Backpackers is a Hostel situated in a suburban coastal street and had received good reviews online before we travelled, and I can say that after four nights that reputation is well deserved. Our first priority was to save money over B&Bs which we found to be too expensive on our budget in this region. We checked in... More

The Falmouth Backpackers Lodge is one of the best accomodations I've ever visited. It is very cosy, you almost feel as if you are sitting in your own living room, because you can see and feel that this is a place where people are, not just a cold unfriendly surrounding. The owner is incredibly friendly, even late in the evening.... More

A very welcome stay, reasonable price and cosy atmosphere. Lots of books to read! And highlight of which was the owner letting me watch the Formula 1 race on her widescreen surround telly. Would have killed me to miss it! Next time I visit Cornwall I would like to pass through Falmouth again and will stay here if I do.
