Where do I begin. Spent 5 nights here for our honeymoon and it was just superb. Mike and Sharon are such lovely hosts. Inviting us in to their home. They have got the balance just right.Friendly but not intrusive. How refreshed we felt after our stay. The room was spotless.the cooked breakfast was top notch (especially the amazing scrambled eggs... More

We had arranged a family gathering to celebrate a 21st birthday. There were 10 of us over 5 rooms, and most of us turned up at once. This wasn't a problem at all. We stayed various lengths between 2 & 5 nights and ranged i nages from late teens to over 70s. Nobody has a bad word to say about... More

When we arrived at the hotel we were warmly welcomed by both Sharon and Mike. We had decided to book the family room and were very happy with our choice. Beds were comfortable and the furniture was oak I believe. Bathroom was a tad small and being a big girl I had to squeeze a bit to get in the... More

My friend and I stayed recently for 2 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our rooms were impeccably clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We both had sea views from our rooms, and a well stocked hospitality trays. Breakfast was excellent, with a great selection to choose from. Just a short walk from the beautiful Gyllyngvase beach and short drive to... More

Booked at short notice as we were taking our daughter back to university. We were surprised that The Rathgowry had rooms available, but we were pleased that they did. We had two spacious, clean rooms, one of which had a great sea view from a balcony. Breakfast was good, with a great choice. A nice final touch was that on... More

A warm welcome awaits at this lovely hotel. Just minutes from the beach, cafe and local walks, it is ideally situated as a base to explore or for a short break to unwind. Only a ten minute walk into Falmouth for shops, boat trips and the Maritime Museum. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the beds very comfortable and a substantial... More

We recently booked two rooms at The Rathgowry to attend our daughters' graduation. Late check up was no problem at all, Sharon was friendly and welcoming. The perfectly white, high quality linen makes all the difference when you're tired! First class choice at breakfast, help yourself to cereal, tea, coffee, juice, plentiful toast, followed by your choice of hot breakfast.... More

We found The Rathgowry more by accident than anything else, but were pleasantly surprised by the uncomplicated manner in which we were greeted well before check in time. After storing our cases in our wonderfully clean room and amusing our seven month old daughter with the lovingly supplied dancing bears above the cot, we wandered the few yards down to... More

There aren't enough stars in the sky to rate how perfect this place is. Perfectly clean, prefecty located, perfectly run with prefect hosts. Sharon and Mike indulged our (ratgher, my) rather odd requestes to make my partner's biirthday trip away as special and wonderful as I could have hoped for. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.
