My boyfriend and I stayed here for four nights in September 2013. We were looking for a reasonably priced place to stay in Falmouth that was also reasonably close to the main part of town. The Observatory was exactly that! We felt very welcome and had an amazing experience - the hosts could not have been more awesome. The one... More

We stayed here having walked in looking for a night's stay.We actually stayed for two. Heidi and Paul were very welcoming and were very knowledgable about the area. The room was very clean and there were some seaside-y ornaments which made it feel homely.A heated rail in the bathroom would have been handy as if you wish to re use... More

we stayed october 2013. room 4 was lovely, bathroom did not match bedroom, is tired and uncomfortable to use. Full English Breakfast was massive but low quality, plastic table covers were awefull. get rid!!! Tasteless marmalade, cheap nasty orange juice....plastic containers for cereal's etc all smacks of "cut corners, do it cheap"....Finally..walls COVERED with notes, signs and faded pictures that... We are sorry that you thought the breakfast was massive( most poeple like that) and that we cut corners with our breakfast, as you can see from other reviews the guest said the is breakfast delicious. We get hand made sausages from butcher in town and our bacon and free range eggs come from a local supplier, beans are Heinz..... More

We had a pleasant stay at The Observatory,Heidi & Paul were great hosts & the breakfasts were delicious. location was good for walking into town/beaches. However some things could do with freshening up such as new towels & pillows.

At first glance, it looked like a normal b&b. Heidi, the coowner, was very friendly and helpful, but seemed in a hurry. We went into the room, and it had a musky smell. As it wasn't so bad (the window was open and there was air freshener), we didn't think that much of it. We left the room to look... More

This Room has been fully booked from Easter 2103 all they way through the Summer, I was shocked and very upset by this review. I have had a visit from an Environmental Health Practotioner and she did a thorough check of the room and the en-suite and she couldnt find any problem or smell. More

I cannot recommend this B&B highly enough. The owners, Paul and Heidi are so helpful and welcoming and the breakfasts are delicious. It's in a great location, walking distance to town and sandy beaches and the rooms are nice and clean. There's free parking and the owners will help in any way they can.

We had a really nice stay here, Paul and Heidi are great hosts and the house is is well located for walking to town or the other way to the beach, with a bit of history too. Comfortable room and yummy breakfast.

Travelled to Falmouth to see daughters show at tremough campus & bring her home. Chose b&b on late rooms because had family room & 1.5 miles from tremough. Owners Heidi & Paul really helpful & friendly. Family room good size comfortable & clean. Decor quirky . Breakfast amazing & cooked to order. Really enjoyed it. Would defiantly stay again.

We stayed at the Observatory Guest House in Falmouth, it was easy to find and the owner was very friendly, he suggested some good restaurants to try in the town and breakfast was great with lots of choice. The only downside was our ground floor room was damp and smelled of damp as soon as you walked into the room.
