The hosts were very friendly and went over and above to make us feel welcome. We stayed in room 5 and it was everything you would want. The bed was very very comfortable, it was very clean and facilities were great. The breakfast was also very good and had a lot to choose from. This guest house just added great... More

As it was graduation week and also the reason for our visit, we were having great trouble finding any availability for a triple room. The Observatory had one room left so we grabbed it fast and, couldn't believe our luck as we would have had trouble choosing better for ourselves. Paul and Heidi personally run their guesthouse to a very... More

Myself and my dive buddy stayed here for three nights whilst diving and site seeing in the area. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Great hosts. Great room. Great breakfast. What more can you ask for?

We literally arrived outside the Observatory, rang from the car , were instantly met by Heidi, viewed the room and booked for a couple of nights. Location is pretty good with just a short walk into the Town, bit of a slope on the way back up, but we two oldies made it, maybe 10 mins at our speed. Both... More

We had a lovely two night stay here. The owners were really helpful and breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The only drawback is the carpark is a bit of a tight squeeze. Other than that, an ideal, quiet and comfortable base to explore Cornwall from. Thank you!

Lovely warm welcome from Heidi who had already put a cot in the room for our daughter and set her a high hair at the breakfast table. Lovely comfortable room , large en suite bathroom and parking . Paul came and chatted to everyone at breakfast every day and was very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and certainly filled us up.... More

We stayed at the Observatory as a group of divers so it was a mix of shared and single rooms. the owners were extremely welcoming and breakfasts were very good. The house is having work done but the rooms as they stand are adequate. Location is good. Parking is a bit tight but overall for the cost the guest house... More

Recent 4 night stay in Falmouth and this was a great little hotel. Rooms were clean and cosy, the breakfast was generous and freshly cooked to order and the location was great for both the beach and the town. The hosts Heidi and Paul were friendly and welcoming and knowledgeable about the area, even providing discount vouchers for local sites... More
