This wonderfully located hotel was a great choice for the one night we had in Falmouth. The rooms are really nicely fitted out in a boutique(?) style and our bathroom exceeded all hotel expectations! We were also very pleased at the choice and quality of food at breakfast. But it really was the friendly staff - the lady at reception... More

This hotel is everything you would want, position is amazing for bars / eating out etc, with free parking across the street. Rooms have a chic feel with bathrooms to die for and Paul and his staff are as friendly and laid back as you would expect in deepest Cornwall. Faulty Towers always comes to mind as there is usually... More

Stayed there while son visited the Uni at the end of November. Loved it. It is a relaxed pace that makes you feel at home. You can chill or chat and everyone is friendly. True, it is not all state of the art, impersonal, cloned monotony that you get in the big places. It has character instead. Clean, safe, warm,... More

Loved the furnishing here from the anglepoise on reception to the g plan bed and ercol chairs. The design is great and the staff friendly and welcoming. Cocktails at the bar were fun and the breakfast ranks amongst the best I've ever had...

I stayed here with my daughter when visiting the university for an open day. The position opposite Rick Stein's and a stroll from the main shops and restaurants was great. We arrived at 6pm and the free parking had gone but there is apple parking across from the hotel although you do have to pay. The staff were friendly and helpful... More

This place was lovely and had a friendly, warm atmosphere. The staff were very chilled and friendly, the decor is obviously shabby chic although I am personally happy to overlook that it has seen more than it's fair share of wear, especially walking up the stairs, all I care about is the room is clean and the staff are nice!... Stayed one night in September 2013. I agree with the previous reviewer, Littlebear, who said that the hotel is starting to be shabby. The room was comfortable but there are dirty marks on the walls all the way up the stairs from the lobby and in the room. Water stain on the ceiling and the building on the whole needs... More

We have stayed in this hotel several times over the past few years. This time the hotel was starting to show its age. Instead of shabby chic the rooms and public areas were just shabby. The staff were friendly and service was good, the breakfast was particularly good. It's a shame the decor is starting to show its age as... More

We have stayed at the Townhouse many times, and loved it every time. Easily the most laid-back and friendly staff in any hotel anywhere - and we've stayed in a lot of hotels! Décor is an eclectic retro chic which gives the whole hotel a relaxed feel you just don't get in the perfectly planned boutiques up country. Comfy beds... More
