My wife and I had to book a night in Falmouth at the last minute and stumbled across this little gem. We were greeted by a cheerful young chap on arrival and given an short introduction before being shown to our room. #5 is a lovely large, clean and nicely decorated room with enquire including a bath. I have to say... More

I stayed here for a night before going on to the Lizard to play a few gigs. The room was most pleasant and quite spacious – with a decent en-suite bathroom. The bed was large and comfortable. The staff were cordial and obliging and the atmosphere was agreeable. The breakfast was extremely well-cooked and portions were generous. Just the thing... More

I love this place - very, very laid back, the staff are SO friendly, they really do make the place. The bar is cool, the beer is cool, the decor is cool! I've stayed in most rooms, all HUGE - great bathrooms and toiletries, all mattresses very comfy, not hard like most hotels. Breakfast is amazing - I nearly always... More

Recommended by a friend and encouraged by the stylish photos on the website and central location, The Townhouse fitted the bill. We stayed for a Friday and Saturday and our welcome was warm and friendly even if the owner looked like his iron had packed up some six months earlier. The style promised by the website was not evident and... More

We stayed here for two nights on the 9th and 10th of October. The room was nice and spacioua with a nice bathroom, although the room wasn't as polished as it came across on the website photos. The bed was nice and big and comfy though. Staff were friendly and helpful and casual. The whole feel of the place was... More

We have stayed at the Town House many times, its location is great, breakfast is fabulous, staff are always helpful and there is a relaxed and quirky feel to the place. However, it does need some updating and some rooms appear to suffer from water damage. Like other reviews, don't expect any slick check-in process or professional looking proprietor. There... More

Rooms have been patched up, a lick of paint over cracks, rather than done properly, and they do need to be redecorated soon! The owner's complete lack of regard for how he dresses sets the tone, anything but elegant. Having said that, the staff are nice and the breakfast is excellent.

Quirky, funky, chilled waterfront town house boutique hotel. The staff are great and laid back, the rooms are clean and filled with 60's and 70's furniture. Breakfast is really chilled out and the bar very well stocked! Parking on site and all in a great location. Will return, thanks. Don't come if you want a normal, polite standard hotel! This... More

Booked to stay for a wedding, was impressed overall it's a quirky hotel. Free parking, clean room with comfy bed a little bit tatty but still fairly good quality. Breakfast choice was varied and delicious.

I've stayed at the Townhouse before and would always stay there when I'm in Falmouth. I just love the laid back atmosphere and quirkiness of the decor. And the lovely little bar which is always welcoming as I only seem to stay there when I am in Cornwall for work! The staff are great and attentive. I have read some... More
