Cosy and friendly, the Trelawney is an ideal place to spend a break in Falmouth or as a hop off on a tour of the duchy. It is situated a short walk from all that Falmouth has to offer, shops, boats and restaurants as well as two castles, the famous maritime museum and the railway station where you can explore... More

That summary was chosen by my daughters (14 and 9). "Delicious breakfast" was a close runner. From my point of view, our host Sean fixing our dodgy car window in the pouring rain meant they were always going to get a glowing review! He and Tessa couldn't have been friendlier. Our family room was very comfy, spotlessly clean (fluffy towels,... More

My husband and I and our two girls stayed for two nights. Tess and Sean were very welcoming and made our stay very enjoyable.Nothing is ever to much trouble, they are always happy to help. Our room was clean and tidy with everything you needed. Would highly recommend and we will defiantly stay again when we are in the area.... More

Good place to stay, great location, clean and tidy. Stayed here as part of a road trip and can certainly say I'd stay again. The only shame is the added cost of breakfast of £7.50 per person if you want it (we ate elsewhere because of this reason) on an already priced room. However I don't blame the owners at... More

I booked the "Trelawney guest house" for my mum ( Linda Marshall) who was staying in Falmouth from 10-17th May. During the reservation stage Tessa could not have been more helpful. Tessa kindly offered a very good rate for the 7 night stay. The first impression of the Trelawney is one of a cosy home from home along with a... More

As soon as you enter the Trelawney you get the feeling it is not just a house, it is a home. It has no pretentions, but my room was clean and more than adequate, all at a price of less than half what I have paid in hotels which have not come up to standard. Tessa, Sean and the staff... More

Couples trip? Visiting our son who is studying at the Uni. Slightly tired of early breakfast at B&Bs so, like our daughter we opted for no breakfast. It is Winter and we were looking for a more leisurely start to the day. Parking in Winter was easy. Close to beaches, castle and town. Easy walk to Swanpool past Ghylly beach.... More

We came here for a long week-end break. The front of the house looked a mess. First impression were not good. The room was very clean the place had a shabby chic look about it However we had to pay extra for break-fast which was made clear before we booked. But was very disappointed with the early break-fast times (7.30... More

On my one night stay here to visit relatives locally I was made very welcome - in spite of the fact that I had to drop bags off immediately and return later! The room was warm and clean with good quality bed linen which was very welcome after the exhausting day I had been through, looking after elderly relatives. The... More

My husband and I have just returned from a 2 night stay at this lovely B and B. The room was big and modern, we had tea making facilities, towels and even a robe. Tessa the owner was so welcoming and friendly, can't wait to come again :)
