Stayed across the roud at the 'D' and wet to the bar at 'Ye Old King's Head' on the afternoon and evening. Friday night was excellent with a singer/guitar/keyboard artist featured. He actually sang a request for me. Five star *****!

This lovely old pub is well served by an excellent team of staff. Jack and the team deserve high praise . The food was excellent , We had breakfast both mornings and an evening meal on our last night . I can recommend the steaks with the sauces . We were both treated to a tour of the building on... My boyfriend and I are very interested in the paranormal so thought this would be the perfect place to stay to celebrate his birthday and our anniversary. We did not have any issues but felt if we needed anything the staff would have done their best to sort it. The staff were very friendly and approachable. The room and hotel... More

Spent 2 nights earlier this week, Sunday and Monday. Very last minute decision. Looked at several hotels in Chester, booked this one as they responded very quickly to our email, so well done to Sally for being so prompt and efficient. The service given by Sally was echoed by every single member of staff we came across in the Kings... More

My daughter organised her own Graduation dinner and invited 15 friends and her old folks. The service was impeccable and Jordan was very attentive. The room upstairs was private and ideal for such an event and the food was excellent and nicely presented. The staff encountered have a helpful and pleasant attitude. Look forward to going again.

Such a lovely interesting pub, had a great vibe to it, good music playing and was very clean. The staff were really friendly and we're happy to answer all our questions about the pubs history and the hauntings.

Visited Chester today for a nice day out for our 14th wedding anniversary. We had no particular plans of where we would have a meal, but we didn't want to visit your typical chain restaurant, this place was brilliant!! The service was really good, very polite and courteous. The food was fab, absolutely delicious. Will definitely return when we are... More

Booked this purely at last minute and what a place, oozes character The building is circa 1622. I had no idea this was the most haunted Inn in Chester if not the country. I managed to see some interesting photos of some sightings in the rooms. I checked you tube and found there is lots of paranormal activity in some... More
