Myself and my boyfriend stayed in The Saddle Inn for 3 nights just before Christmas and had a great time. The staff were so unbelievably lovely and helpful and we left feeling as though we were leaving friends! Chester is so so lovely aswell and was the perfect destination for a short Christmas break. The hotel was lovely and festive... More

Have just arrived home having spent 2 lovely nights with friends at the saddle inn. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and very well presented. Good breakfast selection with lovely porridge! Rooms are very comfortable and we would not hesitate recomending this hotel to... More

Thank you very much for your kind words. All the staff at The Saddle Inn try their best to offer a welcoming environment, and it's always nice to receive positive feedback from our guests, in an industry where it's easy to be critical of the tiniest of things. Obviously we don't kid ourselves that we're the finished article by any... More

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago. The shower leaked through to the next level. Rooms were clean but quite dark so it was difficult to put makeup on. Food not too good and wine not good. Atmosphere in pub friendly and staff very helpful. We stayed just before Xmas so quite noisy until early hours as its just of... More

The staff and the hotel were excellent, room was very clean and large for two people,I would recommend the Saddle Inn just a short walk in to Chester from the pub . The breakfast was very good ! There is no parking for your car but the car parks are very close 5 pound to park over night .

Two important things to mention before I go on. There is no on site free parking here, and to my knowledge there is no free parking nearby. Had a room at the top of the bulding with loads of character, very pleasant, with a bath and a nice firm bed. One of several beds in the room, which was a... More

We stayed one night for a Xmas shopping trip to Chester. This pub is ideally placed, a 2 min walk to the shops and a 5 min walk from a large ncp car park (where u can get a discount from the pub). Lots of eating places within a few minutes walk. The lady behind the bar recommended a restaurant... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in the week for my boyfriends birthday. For the price it was great, room had everything we needed and was conveniently located. Only a few minutes walking distance from town. We had breakfast both mornings which we paid extra for and it was made to order. Both were very nice. I didn't have the best... More

Stayed here for 2 nights with my boyfriend as we were down in Chester for my sisters graduation. Cheapest accommodation we could find at £40 a night and with a perfect location, right in the centre of town. We were on the top floor which was a bit of a pain with our luggage, however the room was spacious and... More

Stayed with a friend for 2 days in Chester, mainly to attend an evening ghost walk, but would go again just to stay at the Saddle Inn. The accommodation was airy & clean, pleasant decor & very presentable with plenty of space, storage, tea & coffee etc. The staff were more than helpful & allowed us to stow travel bags... More
