We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in July 2009, after reading all the negative reviews on this site I was not really expecting this hotel to be that great so I went with a negative view, but I was mistaken the hotel is actually good, rooms were clean, breakfast was amazing, I found all the staff to be... more

We stayed for three nights here over Easter and it has to be the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. There were, I think, several weddings going on and I think there was a hen night being hosted in the room next door to ours. There was shouting, screaming and doors banging every night until at least 3 am.... more

I fail to see what others are moaning about regarding this hotel. For the £19 bargain rate it was tremendous. Looks quite grand from the outside and once inside is equally as good. Check in was fine and our room had a courtyard view. It was very quiet with no traffic noise from this room. The only gripe was that... more

After reading some fairly grim reviews about the place on here (under both entries!) I wasn't really that optimistic about my overnight stay on Bank Holiday Monday. The saving grace was that I had signed up with De Vere for offer emails and had booked this at £29 Room Only for a one up from Standard (Deluxe/Luxury?) room - Standard... more

The hotel is 7 miles away from Chester for starters, the car park is full of cars who rent spaces from local firms , it's right next to a dual carriageway , the leisure suite is a joke with non working equipment and the restaurant is expensive as is the bar in the hotel, try one of the local pubs... more

First room we were allocated was noisy and window would not close. Second room better - quieter and window would close - but two of the lights didn't work - inlcuding main one in bathroom. TV also did not work - took staff 10 mins to arrive and all they did was check aerial was plugged in - then we... more

Stayed here for two nights, payed £58 per night. Room OK,comfy bed, decor all a bit dated . Usual hospitality tray, two milk, two tea bags, why do they do that, surely they cost very little ? Although we did get extra when we asked, we also noticed on the cleaners trolley sachets of hot choc, presumabily for those who... more

Thanks to a deal on Laterooms we booked in for the night for just £10, at that kind of price it's difficult to be too anything but positive but I'll try to give a fair summary. On arrival I was a little bit disappointed with the hotel's proximity to the main road as there was quite a bit of noise... more

Although I must agree with some of the previous reviewers and say the rooms aren't perfect, we really enjoyed our stay. The staff were really friendly and that made all the difference, they were very quick to resolve any problems we had and made us feel welcome. We had a lovely dinner as well - although a bit pricey, I... more

Having read the latest review I was apprehensive about the hotel, however I needn't have worried. Yes the hotel is just off a dual carriageway, and yes it is on a business park, and being built primarily as a business venue it was spot on as a short break venue too. Check in was smooth, our room was clean and... more
