Stayed for one night. Reception welcome and checkout excellent by the two animated male reception staff. Rooms spacious with enormous bed and good facilities. Pool small, spa was nice. Bar area a nice open space with modern décor. Bar staff need to learn the passion and enthusiasm of reception as they let down the quality of the hotel, not smiling... More

There are pro's and con's to this hotel, the pro's, well located , a short walk to the middle of the city sights, once you locate a staff member they are friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries. The food in the restaurant at both breakfast and evening meals was good quality cooked well and... Stayed a few times, never been disappointed. Nice hotel, rooms clean & modern. Good breakfast with plenty to choose from & nice quality. All the staff I've met have been very helpful & couldn't do enough for you. Great central location in easy walking distance of many restaurants & shops.

2 night stay over bank holiday weekend. The whole stay at this hotel was very disappointing. I visited Chester Zoo for the day, didn't get back to the hotel till 4.30 and the room hadn't been cleaned! had to ring up to get it cleaned so we had to leave the room again for them to clean it. Came back... More

So we booked into this hotel on 27th Aug with our 2 children aged 10 and 14. We had an executive club room which we found to be very clean and modern! In the price of the room there was free alcoholic drinks between 5 and 8pm, free soft drinks for the kids 24/7 and free continental breakfast which was... More

Spent the weekend here for my wife's 40th birthday. On arrival it and check in at reception it was a pleasant experience, we were staying in one of the club rooms which was ok . The room itself was small and the double bed was tiny , considering the cost of the room . The bar area was lovely ,... More

Service was very good. Hotel room was a little tired and noisy from outside ( bars clubs etc) on Saturday night. Breakfast was nice. An enjoyable stay but think I would give somewhere else a try if I stayed in Chester again.

Stayed at this hotel several times. Great location as its in the middle of Chester so no need to be messing around with taxis. Stayed for two nights with breakfast included. The breakfast was very good with a large choice of hot and cold food and seemed to be well organised. Car park can be a bit problematic, the entry... More

We stayed over for a weekend in Chester and paid £179 per night. The room dad on the 1st floor and didn't have much of a view and was not a particularly big room considering we had a toddler with us. The location is excellent and within 50 metres you are on one of the shopping streets in the centre.... More

Booked for an August Friday night. Warm welcome on arrival, which made up for the hotel car park being totally full. The multi-storey public one is right next door and the hotel reception give you a pay and display card. We had requested a quiet twin room, which was exactly what we got. The room was clean and well appointed,... More
