Just spent the weekend in Chester and stayed at the Mickle Trafford Manor hotel. Our host, Sam, provided an excellent service and a good selection of places to visit. We loved the Garden Hot Tub and Charlie the dog....we will be back. more

Had difficulties finding somewhere due to it being Chester Races weekend. At first was unsure about the room as it was down in the basement and my husband has mobility problems, but the owner was so pleasant and friendly that decided to give it a try. Beautiful old house with oak beams in the countryside. Lovely lounge that overlooks the... more

Me and my boyfriend booked into another hotel not far from the Manor in June last year, Due to a power cut we all got moved to local B&Bs/ Hotels. We were sent to the Manor, upon first glance looks just OK. We paid 60.00 and what can I say value for money indeed. We stayed in the Vault (not... more

We booked the green room I think, but upon arrival we had been upgraded to the Master Suite which was amazing! Huuuuuge bed, (so comfy), and lovely big bathroom which you stepped down into, with double sinks,... more

When we arrived at the hotel (which I have to say was beautiful with a lot of original features and was obviously cared for) we were told that we had been given an ‘upgrade’ as... more

My wife & I stayed at the Mickle Trafford Manor for just one night on 27th July. Location is good, about 2 miles or so out of Chester town centre. We had the Pine Room, which was detached fro m the main hotel, but a very nice room with en suite. Only problem with the room was a tree shedding... more

Found this hotel by doing some internet research as we were looking for a one night stay on Valentine's Day, going to Chester the next day. Booked directly with the hotel. Hotel is located just off a main road - so there is a little road noise - but don't let that put you off in any way, as once... more
