The proprietor could not be more helpful or accommodating. Being Coeliac was not an issue, although the waitress had apparently not been aware that gluten-free toast could not be served in the same bowl as the non-GF. Very friendly, HUGE bed (handy for larger people such as my husband & I!). Parking spaces a little tight but the owners are... more

We have just returned from a 2 nigh break staying at Chester Brooklands. This couple go out of their way to extend a warm welcome to their guests. We arrived a little earlier than we had said and were taken into their lovely garden where Mark served us a pot of tea and gave us lots of useful local information... more

Very glad we stumbled across Brooklands B&B. Upon arrival made to feel very welcome and given map with details of places to visit and restaurants recommended by the owners. B&B is 10-15 min walk to city centre, just off the main road so in a quieter location than some of the other places we'd looked at. Room was large enough,... more

Hi, I don't like these sort of sites and have not used it before. It was only after the previous review to me here was spotted by one of my work colleagues here that I thought I should make a comment. First of all I am a regular visitor to Chester and stay at Chester Brooklands Bed and Breakfast an... more

We stayed two nights at Chester Brooklands and found our stay there very pleasurable. The room was very clean and had lots of extra touches that made it feel like home. The room was bigger than most B & Bs and so was the bed and bathroom. At this stage we had been touring for two weeks and it was... more

My husband and myself spent a weekend in The Chester Brooklands Hotel, for my 50th birthday. We could not have wished for a better stay!! The hotel was spotleesly clean and tidy, and the host Remina, cooks marvellous breakfasts. She is a mine of information about all the local ammenities/transport services/area, and is extreemly helpful at all times. Our room... more

Very good location if you're travelling by public transport - bus stop right outside the B&B to get into the centre of Chester. Really child-friendly place to stay. Comfortable, clean and quiet, with great breakfast. more

Me and my family stayed here for 3 nights during March 2008 and I can honestly say that we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nothing was too much trouble and the location is perfect being on a quieter road from the busy Hoole Road. One day we will return and we will tell others of this little gem which is... more
