You need to look no further for B&B in Chester - lovely people, lovely house, just a stroll from the City centre. The room was spotless, comfortable & warm (it was below freezing outside) & there is a wide choice for breakfast, which was delicious. In other words - thoroughly recommended. More

We visited Mitchell's of Chester to do some early Christmas shopping and had a lovely stay. It was a pleasant amble past the racecourse into Chester itself. The owners were very attentive and the room was lovely, nice and big with WIFI that worked (which doesn't always happen). The breakfast was yummy! We would definitely stay again. More

We have just returned from England and from our fourth stay at this excellent guest house. We recommend it highly. The rooms are large, warm, comfortable and en-suite. The owners could not be more welcoming, attentive and flexible. The breakfast is first-rate and as filling as you need it to be. We also make use of the large, cosy lounge_... More

The owners made us feel very welcome, greeting us with refreshments on arrival. They were very knowledgable about the local area. The house was delightful and period and the rooms very comfortable with TV/DVD and tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast was delicious. I would certainly stay again if in Chester. More

Wonderful welcome including tea and biscuits in the lounge on arrival, where we were amused by an active but relatively silent parrot! Lovely large room and bathroom with many charming attentive details. Excellent breakfast and an easy stroll into the town. More

Excellent personal welcome on our 3rd stay. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else when visiting Chester. The rooms are spotless and breakfasts made to your specifications. There's plenty of off road parking and its easy walking distance to Chester for the races or shopping. Helen and Colin make you feel at home. Zak and Jimmy are sweet. Other hoteliers... More
