Could not have had a nicer stay. Caught in Chester at one in the morning, everywhere full or asleep. Then saved by Pam! She not only gave me a brilliant room but went above and beyond to make my stay more pleasant. Will always stay here if I can when in Chester (fabulous place by the way).

Lovely welcoming host, spotless room, and a great cooked breakfast. Conveniently situated not far from city centre, railway station, a park, and local shops, bank, and petrol station. We could only stay for one comfortable night this visit, but I'm sure we will be back.

Spotlessly clean. Beautiful spacious rooms. Delightful breakfast. Pam was the perfect hostess with lots of nice personalised touches. Competitively priced and will be staying here again next time in Chester.

I arrived in Chester late afternoon and chose the Victoria Lodge at random. What a pleasant surprise: a gracious host, spacious, light and airy room and all in close proximity to Chester city - pubs, shops, restaurants all within easy walking - which in itself was another pleasant surprise. Many thanks and I suspect I'll be back.

My wife and I enjoyed our best night in England, at a great price, in this comfortable and smart b n b. Our host was welcoming and helpful, the room was spotless with a pleasant outlook, and the breakfast memorable. We heartily commend Victoria Lodge, and would certainly stay there again. Chrisafin

We stayed here for 2 nights in May for Chester races as my partner had stayed here before and enjoyed it. Right from the minute we turned up, we were made to feel welcome and put at ease. The bedrooms were lovely and comfortable, spotlessly clean. The cooked breakfast was so good, I could just eat one now!! Location to... More

We stayed here for one night on 22nd June for my birthday and couldn't have asked for anything more. The room was clean, spacious and very nice decor. The guest house is a gorgeous building and the owners could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. Breakfast was fabulous and we really couldn't fault. An absolutely wonderful stay, don't hesitate... More
