Victoria lodge might not be the most amazingly decorated B&B you've ever seen but it will certainly win you over - it did us. We've stayed in luxury, modern hotels with all the amenities but none had the charm, warmth or the hospitality that will ensure we return to Victoria lodge. With bright, large, well appointed and very clean rooms,... More

Stayed at the B&B as we were at a wedding at Chester Zoo. The lady who owns it was one of the most friendly people you could meet. The rooms were spotlessly clean and had everything we needed and the breakfast was served quickly and was very tasty. We will 100% be staying here again. Thank you for a wonderful... More

This B&B is a lovely little gem to stay stay at. Very comfortable, great value for money, excellent breakfast(even runny poached eggs) and a lovely welcoming host Pam. Rooms are well appointed, a good size and clean, a home from home feel..... The trouble with giving this place a good review is that it may not be long before I... More

Spent 2 nights here for weekend at the races, taxi £4.50 to the races for those of us who have to wear heels! otherwise a short ten minute walk into the city centre. Spotlessly clean B&B, the landlady is extremely accommodating, listens to any special requests. Breakfast was excellent well above todays standard B&B's. Will certainly be staying again soon.

Stayed at this B&B 2 years ago when owned by Richard and Desiree and everything was wonderful. Pam is the new owner and again we received a very warm welcome, spotless and beautifully presented rooms, fabulous breakfast. Location ideal in Hoole. Can't fault this lovely B&B. We'll be back when next visiting Chester. Keep up the excellent work Pam!!!

Pam, the owner is just such a lovely lady - so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. My room and en-suite was absolutely immaculate. Wonderful breakfast, beautifully ironed table cloths for brekkie - just gorgeous! Couldn't fault it. Ten out of ten from me. Thank you Pam - I will return.

Pam could not have been more helpful. Room spotless, excellent breakfast and competitively priced. Great location - near city centre and Hoole village with a great pub for evening meal. Would definitely recommend. Angela T

Could not have had a nicer stay. Caught in Chester at one in the morning, everywhere full or asleep. Then saved by Pam! She not only gave me a brilliant room but went above and beyond to make my stay more pleasant. Will always stay here if I can when in Chester (fabulous place by the way).

Lovely welcoming host, spotless room, and a great cooked breakfast. Conveniently situated not far from city centre, railway station, a park, and local shops, bank, and petrol station. We could only stay for one comfortable night this visit, but I'm sure we will be back.

Spotlessly clean. Beautiful spacious rooms. Delightful breakfast. Pam was the perfect hostess with lots of nice personalised touches. Competitively priced and will be staying here again next time in Chester.
