The B&B is just a short drive from Chester, and very close to a Park&Ride area. The room was large and comfortable, with a tv set, coffee & tea and a large and clean ensuite bathroom. Lovely location and attractive gardens. Hospitable and helpful host and great breakfasts. However, our room, which was probably the smallest was cluttered (in part by owners ornaments) and uncomfortable. Our family of 4 booked two rooms for two nights over New Years and had a wonderful stay in this beautiful country home. About 15 min. drive into Chester with easy parking to be found for sightseeing and shopping. There are two pubs near The Mount for evening meals. Their website is quite accurate.
