One of the better Holiday Inn Express hotels. ideally situated for Chester centre. Clean, comfortable and value for money. The breakfast offerings are always fresh and varied, which is excellent for a continental breakfast buffet. Bar stays open late if that is one of your requirements, although it's a little pricey.

We stayed on Friday/Saturday for roman day races. Check in was very efficient and we got a lovely room overlooking the race course. just returned from stay at the holiday inn express chester race-course staff were fab hotel 2nd to none it was clean and a fantastic view of the race course. the may meeting was on and the hotel full but the staff from the car park showed us to a car space and when we entered the hotel it was lovely... Wife and I stayed overnight as I was running in the Chester Half Marathon the following day. Staff were friendly and check in was easy. Rooms comfortable, shower powerful and had a peaceful night's sleep. Breakfast was okay. Car parking next to the hotel was ideal as the race started from the racecourse next to the hotel.

This was a two night stay at the Express Inn which is on the racecourse, and if like us you get a room over looking the racecourse you will have a great veiw. Chester town as lots to do and see with good restaurants,watering holes and loads of shops. You also have Cheshire Oaks and Chester Zoo near by.
