We have just returned from an over night stop at Higher Huxley Hall. It was lovely. The house is full of antiques and history. The grounds are beautiful. Couldn't fault the breakfast. This accomodation was supurb we stayed oct 2003 our host was a very nice chap who is passionate about his mansion and the surrounding country.The town of Chester is a must see and I can reccommend the cuisine at The Cheshire Cat which is located nearby I hope to one day repeat the lovely time i spent at Higher Huxley... more
