Its great. The staff always do their best and I admire their ability to get the job done. The rooms are always very clean and neat and I enjoy the breakfasts.

On arrival into Chester I attempted to book into this hotel, big mistake! Although the hotel smelt very dirty, it was quite late in the evening and I had been travelling most of the day, and the price was reasonable. On trying to make a payment, the manager very abruptly told me my card had declined, and turned me away....

Was booked here for a friends do could only manage one night from the tv sells taped to the wall to the bathroom that Tom Thumb would have described as pokey! It's dark and dingy inside and has a strange smell that you just can't place. The bedrooms and decor are from 1963 and the who'd pace is badly in...

felt like you were stuck in a time warp, the shower door wouldn't shut and the plastic was falling out. It was noisy at night with very thin walls. the only good point was the location very close to chester train station but other than that it was a terrible stay and the pillows had stains on them. Completely disgusted...

The rooms are dated but scrupulously clean and functional. The brealfast was plentiful and delicious and the price was exellent. What makes this hotel even better though is the amazing staff....

However, we were blown away by the care and attention given to us by the staff...

My expectations for a visit to the Belgrave Hotel were significantly exceeded. I chose the hotel purely on location and price, but was really impressed with the service I received whilst there. I had to leave the hotel no later than 8am on a Saturday morning, so thought I wouldn’t be able to have breakfast, but the manager told me...
