We booked this hotel through lastminute.com and only found out it's name once we'd booked. I immediately looked the New Blossoms up on tripadvisor and was initially a bit nervous that I'd got a bad deal (2 nights room only for just over £100 for two people), but it turned out ok. We travelled at the end of June during... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Blossoms for a long weekend in May. I had read previous reviews about parking in Chester so we parked in a multi-storey and then found the hotel on foot. The location is fantastic – right in the centre of the city! Check-in was ok and we were put in room 308. It was... more

We stayed here for three nights for my birthday in March. Neither of us have been to Chester before and we were both delighted with the hotel and the city. The hotel has a great location - walk out the door and you are only a few steps away from the famous Eastgate Clock. Having read the reviews on here... more

The hotel has just refurb and is now quite modern. It is in a fantastic location in the city centre near to the attractions, shops, bars and restaurants. Our room was a little on the small side but it was clean and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was a good size with speakers built into the ceiling so that you could... more

Hotel like Marie Celeste, waited at desk long time to check in and out. Room dirty on floor + rubbish from previous occupant. Chewing gum on floor two days. Heating and hot water failed second day, thus icy cold on second night. Ringing reception about it was fruitless- no answer. Breakfast was OK re hot food, but the rest was... more

Just returned from a three night stay at Blossoms, was a bit anxious after reading some of the reviews. The parking is definately the downside, as you have to use a NCP park, they suggest you take the one way system to drop off in front of the Hotel, well my advice is don't , just go straight to the... more
