My partner booked us a 1 night stay for my birthday.... We arrived and was greeted by fantastic staff who gave us a complimentary upgrade. Room was clean and little added extras like toiletries and bath robes was fab too! The reception manager then personally handed me a birthday card from hotel manager along with a 15% discount on food... More

Very nice hotel, the staff on reception were absolutely brilliant, very helpful, cheerful and friendly. The hotel is ideally situated with a very warm welcoming feel. Looking forward to our next stay.

The room is amazing great comfy king size bed breakfast is also good, wi-fi worked well great central location, nice staff. Also near to the train station and tourist attractions The price is very close to some lower quality hotels in Chester. Totally worth the difference

The hotel is central, so very convenient for visiting the fabulous city of Chester, but parking is in a nearby shopping centre car park and quite a walk with luggage if you are less able, (as was my companion). The staff were really lovely and very helpful. Enjoyed the food - breakfast & dinner excellent, also the half price cocktails... More

Hotel well situated in the middle of the city for shopping, the only let down was that they had no parking. The room met all our needs for what we wanted. Staff made you feel very welcome would stay again.

Dear Helen W, Thank You for your review of the New Blossoms. Like most City Centre hotels we do not sadly have our own Carpark, we do recommend the Grosvenor Carpark. Kind Regards Steve Burley More

Good hotel, but not the best in the family of MacDonnald Hotels and SPAs. Excellent location (attractions, shopping, restaurants are all within 5-min walk). Beautiful charachter building, new amenities. Nice selection at the bar, but it closes too early. Very nicely furnished rooms (albiet smallish), but the noise and sound isolation isn't good enough – you can hear someone walking... More

Dear Alexander M, Many Thanks for your review of the New Blossoms, being the most historic and oldest Hotel in Chester we do creak in some places, maybe it was a guest from the past. Kind Regards Steve Burley More

Visited on Tuesday of this week and stayed for two nights. Very helpful staff also very friendly. Our room was very hot and this was during a cool spell. No radiators were on so in the summer could be a problem. Bathroom very clean and towels changed daily if wanted. We did not have dinner in the hotel. The breakfast... More

I stayed here for one night. I don't think I could have handled two. The main areas of the hotel are ok, and the bedroom was fine, but there were a few reasons why I won't be returning. 1) room was boiling hot all night. Seemingly no way to alter the heat. The window opened about an inch, but was... More

Lovely hotel and room but service on reception was not good. Badly organised staff and seemed inexperienced. Other staff in the hotel were very good. Took a long time to check in (40 mins) which meant we were late for an appointment at a jewellers which was the point of the trip. Lovely room and bed. Great location.
