Went to Blossoms for afternoon tea for Father-in-laws birthday. Couldn't fault the service, brilliantly helpful staff. Quality and quantityof the afternoon tea was great - been to many places for afternoon tea and this is by far the best.

We have stayed at many Macdonald Hotels and found this lacking. The breakfast was fine but the evening meals were disappointing.The main problem is the menu is mainly steaks & pub classics.
