Stayed with my elderly mum for just one night. First time in Chester and previous contact with very helpful staff member ensured i found car parking in nearby shopping centre easily. From the moment we arrived the staff could not be more helpful. Bags taken to our room while lunched in deserted very smart restaurant. Food there mainly fab but... More

I recently returned from staying at this Hotel with my family during the races. From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed and swiftly checked in by a very efficient young lady called Jennifer. Our bags were taken to our room while we went out to explore the local area. As we had not visited the City before Jennifer... More

The hotel has a great central location but there is no car park which added £20 to our bill for a 2day stay. It is very clean and the staff are pleasant, professional and friendly. Our room was nicely decorated but small, with a tiny bathroom. The bed was comfortable but felt felt like a small double. View from window... More

Our stay at the Macdonald New Blossom hotel in Chester was a ideal for our requirements. It's central and accessible location allowed us to explore the city which was right on our doorstep. Our room was spacious, and had all the essential amenities with a nice city view. Lovely breakfast with good setting of the restaurant. However, we did feel... More

The staff were attentive, the public areas well maintained and decorated and the room was lovely - really comfortable. One negative would be that it is nuisance there's no parking... More

Good sized bathroom, nice and clean with lovely large towels. As mentioned in other reviews, it is quite noisy at night, so we had to sleep with the window closed and used the fan provided... More

The fact that I am writing this at nearly 3 am is because of the noise from a club opposite the hotel where the sound if music and drunken people has been blaring out for hours. Other than that and the fact that the room is too warm(we can't open the window because of the noise) we have no complaints.... More

We stayed at the new blossoms last weekend as we were visiting the races. I can't emphasise how great our stay was. All the staff seem very young but they were so welcoming, polite, helpful and friendly. The second we walked through the door a passing waited took my suitcase and took it to reception. Then the cases were carried... More
