Just returned from a 3 night stay at Crabwall manor. Did not know quite what to expect after reading some of the reviews, but it was very good indeed. We atyed in a suite for the first 2 days we stayed in a suite which was very nice & then we swapped to a standard room. The suite had a... more

We booked our Wedding at Crabwall two years ago at a time when some of the reviews and our experiences were not everything that they could be, however we had fallen in love with the building, which is even more beautiful than it appears in the pictures. Fortunately, in the last few months, a number of staff and management changes... more

On arrival you will be more than pleased with the look of Crabwall Manor it is set in lovely grounds with ample parking and has a very impressive yet charming exterior. On entering we headed to reception and waited in a lovely little snug with a huge fire place.after checking in we dragged our cases up the windy little stair... more

We had a four night break at Crabwell which we thoroughly enjoyed . I was a little apprehensive after reading a few reviews and although i agree with some of the negative comments overall Crabwell is a good place to stay in Chester , being near to all tourist attractions . Our room was of a very good size having... more

Staayed at this hotel in March for our wedding anniversary. Room, bed and breakfast for us both was quite a baragin at around £120. Lovely grounds, fantastic spa. The interior of the hotel could do with a bit of a re-vamp. It was a bit 'Fawlty Towers' like! The bedroom was very spacious, as our bathroom. The food was absolutley... more

Stayed at this hotel one night for the purpose of exploring Chester. Loved the roaring fire and many sitting rooms with comfy sofas. The room was lovely and spacious with a massive bathroom. Although we didn't use the spa and pool we were very impressed with them. The hotel is somewhat faded but we found this added to the overall... more

We returned to crabwall Manor after staying there 6 months ago. We loved it the last time and hoped that it wasn't going to be a one off experience. We are delighted to say we enjoyed everything about our stay again. The staff were exceptional, the room had a magnificent four poster bed - so comfy and the food was... more

Went for 2 nights as a birthday treat for my wife. Booked on-line for a reasonable rate and offered free Sunday dinner for 2; however, this offer not confirmed on booking confirmation and I repeatedly failed to get a positive response confirming the offer either by email or on phone. Offer eventually and begrudgingly accepted on arrival after much complaining. The... more

Crabwall Manor is somewhere i have always wanted to stay and we finally booked for two nights in March. My first impression was that the hotel needs some refurbishment and is looking tired and shabby. we were lucky to get a recently painetd room but were up in the attic with no view. we also had to call maintance to... more
