What can I say other than fantastic. First class service . Highly recommend the spa. Well worth the money can't wait to return. The food in the hotel is pricey but nice. Would recommend valet parking. 8.50 for 24 hours . Ask for a kettle in room prior to arrival.lots to do and places to eat. 200 pound deposit on... More

The hotel is located in the centre of Chester, perfect location close to shops, restaurants and bars. The staff are so helpful and will make your stay enjoyable. My friend an I had a twin bedded room which was a lovely room but on opening the curtains the view was none existent - it was blocked by brick walls and... More

My daughter and I enjoyed a lovely stay at the Chester Grosvenor. The room, food and staff were all of the highest quality. The icing on the cake was sitting next to William Roache aka Ken Barlow at dinner in the Brasserie restaurant!

We recently stayed at the hotel for our mini-moon, the hotel very kindly ungraded our room twice! From classic to deluxe and then on check in upgraded us again to an executive room! As we arrived there was a lovely note from reception congratulating us on our recent nuptials and had left a beautiful chocolate mousse desert for us. Room... More

We decided to have afternoon tea in the Grosvenor, a really well presented service, everything was done with great care. The tea had strainers,a good selection of teas, the sandwiches were endless and the pastries were yummy, any that you didn't eat was put into a doggie bag so you could finish later. Well worth doing but book in advance.

Went for a birthday treat for a friend. The afternoon tea was lovely, we went for the full champagne afternoon tea. They catered for us really well as we are vegetarian. The service first class and ambience wonderful. It is expensive but lovely as an indulgent treat.

Enjoyed our stay at the Grosvenor. Plus points: friendly staff, excellent food, well appointed rooms, complimentary coffee on request. Minus points: no dressing gowns or slippers in the room; mentioned it was our wedding anniversary on our booking but no acknowledgement by hotel; booked full breakfast through concierge online but no record of this on arrival for breakfast. Overall a... More

We stayed at the Grosvenor for one Saturday night. Service was excellent nothing too much trouble. Considering that it was Saturday our room was exceptionally quite. We decided to approach the hotel through the car park which involved a short wait of 15 minutes as shoppers were queuing for parking spaces but once we arrived at the hotel the valet... More

Stayed as couple celebrating out first wedding anniversary. My husband loved the drive up to the hotel and the valet parking check in/out was exceptional service. The deluxe room we had was a little small to which I was surprised, furnishings are maybe a little dated but the bed was huge and very comfortable. The bathroom was large but the... More
