Owned by and named after the family of The Duke of Westminster. This well known Grade 2 listed building celebrates its 150 year as a Hotel. We wanted to prolong our special birthdays with a stay at this Grand Hotel. Our room was a Deluxe Bedroom which was beautifully furnished. The entrance hall leads through to a styiish bedroom with... First time to this exclusive hotel and we were not disappointed. Every one was exceptional and very professional without being unapproachable. Warm and welcoming at every turn. From welcome at reception to the brasserie staff, to the attention to detail at Simon Radley, restaurant this place is a must visit.

We dined as two couples celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary. We had a simply faultless experience from initial greeting to departure. We were in the Simon Radley restaurant which has a well deserved reputation with Michelin star to match. We had the tasting menu with their suggestions of wines to match the courses. We have enjoyed fine dining together at... More

This was a much needed escape. After working long hours all year - as we all do - and having a family trauma that was emotionally draining this was our one day to get away - catch up on all the Christmas shopping and look forward to healthy times ahead. We were very happy arriving to a large Christmas tree... More

The Grosvenor is a fab hotel. Parking great and staff good. I still like the bed turn down service. Do ask for the complimentary tea and coffee making tray. Still don't know why that is not in the room as standard in a 5 star hotel and biscuits would be good. McDonald's Bath Spa similar and Tassimo coffee maker in... More

I received a gift voucher from a friend for my 50th birthday which included an 8-course tasting menu at the Michelin Star, Simon Radley restaurant (reviewed separately) and I decided to take along my 16 year old daughter for the luxury experience. My 'package' included an overnight stay in a Classic bedroom but when I requested a twin room they... More

This is an outstanding hotel. The decor in public areas is beautiful and the rooms exceptionally well decorated. Huge, extremely comfortable bed; spotless bathroom with good sized tquality toiletries and Sky sports on the TV. Slippers and robe a bonus even in Standard rooms. The service is exceptional. The staff are really friendly and make you feel very welcome. You... More

Second stay this year - same outcome - really comfortable hotel and very welcoming. Basic must haves = comfortable bed, good bed linen and good hot shower - Chester Grosvenor excels here (possibly the best beds ever!). Welcome from the porters excellent, car parked, luggage retrieved etc - same excellence on leaving. Efficient check in (but response to "can you... More

We picked up a last minute "Fabulous Friday Dinner, Bed and Breakfast" offer and having always wanted to stay here, decided to give it a go. We were not disappointed. From the second you enter the hotel you can't help but notice the sheer decadence of the place. A stunning reception, with exceptional staircase, chandelier and reclining area then came... More

I booked this hotel as a surprise for my boyfriends birthday, I booked a package deal which included spa treatments and an executive room which came to £409. Usually I would never pay this much for one night but as it was a special occasion I did. When we arrived we walked straight through the entrance from the car park... More
