3 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We were greeted well by Marion, so we were encouraged, having recently had a bad experience in a 'managed' hotel. We were warned that most of the staff were new and had only a couple of week's experience, and it showed. Though Anna Maria will be worth her weight in gold once properly settled. In general a good experience, though... More

Absolutely fantastic stay. Thank you Marion and team. From checking in too checking out our stay was extremely comfortable, enjoyable and relaxed.... home from home. Marion greeted us with a cheerful smile as we arrived. We were shown routes to walk into the city etc and shown to our room. Our room although small (we booked small double room) was... More

A beautiful hotel that was very clean with comfortable beds and a television. Was great to relax in. The staff were very helpful and friendly and were happy to help with any questions you had. The breakfast was very satisfying and again and staff were very friendly. Wifi worked perfectly and there is lots of parking. Only a ten minute... More

I was staying away for work and this hotel suited the works budget, had free parking, complimentary breakfast and only a short walk to the city centre. I had room 22 which on arrival had a broken bathroom window (handle had fallen off so window couldnt be shut), I reported this to the desk and she said it would be... More

A beautiful historic hotel just 10 minutes outside of Chester City Centre. Nicely decorated reception area with plenty of chairs to relax and work if needed. The room, though small had a comfortable bed and provided everything i needed. The shower had instant hot water and there was complemetary sachets of shower gel. As a base location where the main... Brookside was OK. The best part was the cat (an adorable feline you'll likely find in the sitting room). It was clean but that should be expected. Our tidy little room was tiny, uncomfortably tiny. My husband and I were falling over each other just to prepare ourselves for sleeping. The distance from town center was somewhat cumbersome. Nothing struck me... More

We have just come home from our annual Chester trip. This hotel is inviting due to it being cosy and welcoming. The room we had was cosy. The food in the restaurant was really nice. The only negative thing was the pudding. We had the hot fudge cake. The staff are so attentive and kind. The hoteliers were very pleasant... More
