My husband and I were travelling from Spain to Chester for 8 days. We booked a room at Comfort Inn. When our booking was confirmed we emailed the hotel directly stating that as I was disabled, I would need a room with easy access and a room with a "walk in" shower, that is not over the bath. We received... more
This was the third time that we have stayed at the Comfort Inn in Chester. This Hotel is located on the Hoole Road going into Chester. The staff at the hotel are always friendly and nice. The rooms have always been on the smaller size, but never too small, usually having a desk and armchair. I generally find that the... more
I first booked a double en suite room for one night at the Comfort Inn Chester for 40 pounds a night. When I decided to change my plans and stay one night earlier, I was told there is a two night minimum stay when you arrive on a Saturday and I was not able to amend my reservation. So I... more
My wife and I stopped at the Comfort Inn during February 2007. Reception staff were prompt, courteous and efficient during check in procedure and we were directed to our room within 5 minutes of arrival. Personally, we were not seeking luxurious rooms with an abundance of facilities, just a base from where we could stoll in to the town centre... more
We recently stayed at the Comfort Inn, Chester and while the location is handy for the motorway and the grounds are very nice the hotel is not the best. It is too far to walk into the centre of Chester we had to get a cab. We were in the coach house which is seperate from the main building, the... more
Myself and Partner stayed at the Comfort Inn in February for our Birthdays. The room we were allocated was on the ground floor, right next to the reception which proved to be extremely noisy. We could hear the phone ringing all the time. It did stop though around 10pm, I presume this is because reception is then closed. We kept... more
The rooms were clean and comfortable - pretty average. Staff was helpful and friendly. Good value for the money. Location was further from town centre than we had hoped. This hotel would not be suitable for the handicapped as driveway area is not paved and there are stairs within the hotel - no elevator. more
We had planned to stay at the Adelphi Hotel in Liverpool - but were repulsed by the dirty condition of the lobby and disrespectful reception staff - so we sought refuge in the Comfort Inn. Unlike the Aldelphi, it was bright, clean and new but far from comfortable. Unfortunately, the walls were so thin that we were kept awake by... more
This hotel is not suitable for anyone with a disability. Last year my family booked in here and although they had booked 2 rooms on the ground floor there was only one available when they checked in. As 1 member of the party has MS and was in a wheelchair and the other is 91 and can't climb stairs this... more
