“A real hidden gem”

A superb hidden gem, right in the heart of Chester, but down an old passage way and so away from the noise. Could hardly have been more convenient. The room itself was superb, the staff very obliging and helpful, following the example of mine hostess Rebecca. Definitely a place to visit again.

Just stayed in the commercial this weekend for a girls night out. Couldn't praise it enough, early checkin on arrival fabulously helpful, pleasant staff couldn't do enough to help. “Great place during the races!”

After a great day at Chester races, a few of us headed here and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. I've noticed someone said the prices were a rip off - not so. “rip off on race day”

There has to be one bar that can't help itself on ripping people off for bar drinks. £10.10 for a lager and small wine. The racecourse was cheaper. Couldn't wait to go to more friendly and cheaper venues in the city. Would not recommend as I don't like been ripped off. You have been warned.

Excellent hotel. Great central location. Situated in a hidden historic courtyard that also provides outside seating/drinks .Another outside area available too. Just come home from the commercial bar and hotel and what a great experience. We stayed in the Byron suit upstairs a very nice room, well furnished and with a beautiful bathroom.
