Just arrived back yesterday after staying here for 2 nights, the cottage is lovely and comfortable everything you need is provided. The staff are helpful and polite, we stayed in Grooms cottage which is upstairs and could hear the people below us, kids running around screaming early in the morning. We all used the pool on the two days, the... More

Just got back from a 2 night stay at the estate with a Hen party of 18. Perfect accommodation for a group get away. Well equipped. We also has a perfect outdoor area as it was a very sunny weekend. The pool was enjoyed by the group and a taxi into the centre was only £9. A lovely peaceful getaway... More

Stayed here in two cottages for my sister's hen do. Perfect for our requirements. Lovely and clean. Everything supplied. Bedrooms and living areas lovely. Nice swimming pool. Also only around £7-£10 in a taxi to Chester. Great for what we wanted! Thanks :)

Originally book for 4 days but ended up extending our stay. The cottage was lovely and the staff made us feel at home. All the felicities were clean and having the pool and the games area was a mega plus. Will recommend the cottages to friends and family. Will be going back there again for sure. Stayed over half term with my husband and two daughters aged 9~11, such a brilliant location in Cheshire, managed to visit north wales, Chester, Liverpool and Staffordshire. Lovely accommodation. Clean, comfy, felt like home. Really helpful staff with lots of suggestions of places of interest, where to eat etc .. Will recommend to my friends, thank you.

Would never go back here again. Stayed in November as part of a large group accommodating two cottages. On arrival at the cottages there was a power cut and we were informed it could be off for up 6 hours. It was off for four hours so we had no electric to heat food or make drinks for the entire... We would like to assure people that the power cuts we were experiencing were faults along the National Grid and therefore completely out of our control. We are now pleased to advise that this has now been rectified and have had no further problems since. We are actively looking for compensation from the energy networks and will keep relevant parties... More

we hired majority of cottages for an anniversary/50th birthday party weekend and had a perfect weekend. The manager arranged hire of marquee for party and casks from the local brewery and was very helpful in making the weekend a success. There are 2 pubs within walking distance (with torch) and several good restaurants within 5minute drive. Some of the our... More

We were a group of 11 people and spend 2 nights at The Rose Cottage Milton Brook. The cottage is very large and comfortable and pretty much everything was included(excluding toiletries and wifi); such as towels, all kitchen utensils, 2 fridges, a large oven etc...there are some games too such as a Genga and other games. The cottage was adequately... More

Just back from a really great weekend staying a Milton Brook Cottages. We stayed in Grooms Cottage and it was exactly what we were hoping for. Very spacious inside and with all mod cons. TV and DVD player, fully fitted kitchen, 3 bedrooms. I agree that the place could probably do with a lick of paint here and there but... More

24 of us descended on Chester for the weekend, and stayed in three of the cottages at Milton Brook. We arrived throughout the day on Friday, and were shown into the cottages, and shown the games room and the pool, and given instructions on how to work the heating/hot water etc. I stayed with 11 other ladies in Mill Barn,...
