After a lifetime of living near London, I have moved to Shropshire. I decided to explore North Wales and took a train from Shrewsbury to Holyhead, returning to Chester. Chester is a great tourist location and the Travelodge is excellently located - I have a bad hip at present, but was still able to walk to most of the places... More

Our stay at the Travelodge exceeded our expectations. It was fantastic to walk into a lovely warm and welcoming room after a long journey. The room and bathroom were spotless. The bed was so comfortable, crisp white sheets, simply fantastic. The staff were very imformative and friendly. The prices for the rooms were extremely reasonable, which is always a bonus.I would recommend... More

Just spent the most amazing night in this wonderful hotel, view was absolutely amazing and could not fault the place in any way, shape or form. The staff were exceptional and catered for my every need which really made my stay that extra bit special. It's central location makes it perfect for shopping and sight seeing with amazing value for... More

We stayed here on a Saturday night which probably didn't help noise levels. To get a twin room we had to book a disabled access room. Surprisingly this was on the second floor at the end of a corridor so we thought it would be quiet. The single beds were very small and very close together. There were flashing LED... More

We booked a family room for myself, my wife and daughter. When we arrived, my wife and daughter went to the room whilst I parked the car. I was given a key card, which we found instantly voided theirs. they got replacements and them mine didn't work. The room had open hanging space and a shelf on to to store... More

The Chester Central Travelodge is right in the city centre and many rooms have a view of the Roman Amphitheatre. The hotel was very quiet despite the city centre position. It is very convenient for a wide selection of eating places. The hotel is one that has recently been refurbished.

Great location of hotel. We got the train to chester and only a short walk from the station to the hotel. Very central. Great receptionist who changed our room to a twin no problem. Hotel room basic but clean and no problems. Didn't spend too much time in the hotel but for what we needed this did the job. Not... More

We booked quite a way in advance so the cost was reasonable. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. The aircon/heating did break but this was about the only annoyance. The location is great for central Chester.

We stop here for 2 nights over New Year. On arrival to our room we only had 1 towel even though we had booked for 2 people. The location was amazing within walking distance to all shopping locations, pubs and eating places. The first morning we got woke up at 6am due to the fire alarm going off three times... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. It’s great to hear you were happy with the location. It is important that our guest’s rooms are replenished and refreshed every day and it is regrettable to learn you were disturbed from the fire alarm sounding on this occasion. We’d really like to find out more about your stay... More
