We really enjoyed our stay at Kilmorey Lodge. The bedroom (3) and en suite were spotlessly clean and very nicely decorated. Our room was at the side and very quiet. The breakfast was delicious with a wide range of continental and full English. A family-run B&B - the family were very friendly and helpful. Perfect for a stay in Chester... More

I frequently visit Chester and have stayed in quite a few Hotels and B&Bs there, but I reckon that this will be my first choice from now on. The owners were very friendly and keen to ensure that I was comfortably settled in. Quite unprompted Jo even offered me a choice of rooms in case I might be disturbed by... More

Having stayed in all sizes and types of Hotels & B&B's throughout the UK (and Europe) a single night business / pleasure late booking resulted in a stay at Kilmorey Lodge for which we couldn't recommend highly enough as we were going to be late arriving due to a late business appointment, the owner couldnt do enough to help us... One of the best B&B i've ever seen, if you happen to chester in a nobrainer, the room was very nice, clean. The eviroment was cozy and it made me feel home. The water in the shower was actually hot (other times i had freezing showers)

After spending the day at Chester Zoo, we arrived at Kilmorey Lodge. We were shown up to our room (7) by the welcoming hostess, and were delighted when we saw it. As we were a family of 3, we had the triple room in the eves. The room felt light and spacious, and the bathroom was clean and had a... More

A gorgeous period hotel, very spacious and tastefully decorated. Room 7 - in the attic - a triple room with en-suite bathroom (the bath is big, with a shower over). It was quiet (with the windows shut) even though it is situated at the front of the hotel, comfy beds with pillows and cushions to enjoy watching the television or... More

Today arrived home after four lovely nights at this B & B. It is spotlessly clean and Jo makes you very welcome. The breakfasts are all freshly cooked to order and there is a good selection. Jo got to know we ALWAYS had "the full English"!!!!! Ideally located for Chester, an easy 15 minute walk to the city centre and... More

Room had a good size and was very nicely decorated. Unfortunately there was a lot of noise coming from the hallway when other guests entered their rooms. The bathroom was not as clean as I would expect it to be at the price we paid...e.g. the towels still had washing powder on them and the electric shower regulator was a... More

My hubby and I took the chance of a bank holiday weekend to re-visit our old uni city of Chester with our best friends! Kilmorey lodge is an absolutely beautiful b&b! We stayed in room 4 which had a wee sofa area and the room spotless! Lovely little extra touches that only a girl would notice of face wipes (age... More
