Came over for Wedding and stayed here for the one night.. Friends got married in this Hotel and it was magical.. I've been to a few Weddings in the past year over in Chester and loved this accommodation... Breakfast was a bit lost, as they forgot one of my friends orders, but it was sorted... Wonderful experience and place... We... More

Went to chester for my 30th birthday.found this on the internet. Arrived Saturday early afternoon and managed to check in. Fantastic hotel. Had the Douglas duplex room. Lovely room with plenty of space. Had 3 course dinner which was beautiful. Very good atmosphere in the bar. Superb location to town centre. Superb hotel.

I stayed at Oddfellows two weeks ago for two nights with my wife for her 30th birthday. The rooms are very nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We dined in the hotel on one of the nights and were not disappointed; food and service were excellent. My only complaint which was well handled by the staff was... More

Late booking of the penthouse at a greatly reduced rate which is always a bonus. Amazing décor and furniture throughout this place. Room 16 didn't disappoint. Our room was clean and had everything we needed for a night away. Visited the bar which was very busy. Great cocktail range Was late for breakfast but the manager agreed to serve us... More

Stayed for two nights en route to the lake district. Booked one of the standard rooms which was fine - and had everything you needed. Breakfast was included in the form of a paper bag with fruit, croissant, yoghurt and orange juice - not everyone's think but fine for us. Staff were friendly and we were always greeted with a... Basically not much more to write. The place was ultra busy a bit poncy (or we are just not moving with the times enough, haha) and we felt very underdressed, however, to be fair, the service was excellent and the staff could not have been more helpful. Drinks expensive (as you'd imagine), but the food was without fault. Definitely worth... More

Had a fantastic hen party weekend at Oddfellows. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a hen party with a difference. We had a package organised with the Hotel which included afternoon tea, a cocktail making session and an evening meal with wine. The staff couldn't do enough to make the event really special, the duty Manager was... More

Had a fantastic surprise baby shower here last weekend. My sister had organised for 18 of my close friends and family to have afternoon tea in the 'Alice in Wonderland' themed private dining room. The afternoon tea itself was delicious, lovely fresh rolls and a great selection of cakes and scones. The service was super too, plenty of fresh tea... More

Stayed in February 2014 for one night as a business trip - was expecting something quite special. The rooms charming if a bit quirky. Don't get me wrong beats a chain hotels but steep stairs on arrival - and I was carrying a heavy bag. Hotel had no phones and hence a problem with corporate agency booking seemed insurmountable and... More

Only stayed the one night but it was excellent; hotel facilities, staff and food. Took some getting used to the room as the current modern trend seems to be glass walls round the toilet and shower in the room in full view but we coped. Had a very good deal including DB&B so it paid it's way. Very handy for... More
