Stayed here for one night only (thank goodness!!). We arrived at 4 pm to check in for one nights stay. The free car park at the back is very small and we got the last space. I don't know what people who arrived later by car would do! We were given room 46 on the 2nd. floor. The stairs are... More

Room very small, shower even smaller, and the bed was very uncomfortable. 'Car park' was a joke, hardly any room at all. Wouldnt recommend at all. Having said all that, Chester is really lovely, would certainly visit again.

This hotel is near to the railway station - walking distance. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Chester town. Did not try the breakfast, though. Rooms are small and the bathroom is just a cubicle (enough standing room). Will not recommend big-size people to stay here... Staff is rarely seen except at the reception.

Within walking distance. mins from train station, 10 mins from town centre. Good base to explore Chester, Shopping, Castle, Cheshire Reg Museum. Very clean, comfortable large bed, sat tv, tea/coffee, hairdryer ect. decent size room, ok, en suite v small & all in one plastic caravan thing. but functional, good power shower. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was ok, not... More

We booked a two night midweek break with our 18 month old. We phoned the hotel before hand to check there'd be a cot available since we didn't have room for our travel cot. On arrival we were helped up to our room by the man on reception (there is no lift). The room was spacious & light. The bathroom... More

Booked a midweek 2 night stay at this hotel at £70 a night for a family room, double, single and was told a cot bed. Arrived at hotel and instantly thought it looked and smelt shabby but would give it the benefit of the doubt being close to the city centre. Anyway, after a nice day in Chester we returned... More

Hi me and the wife stayed at this hotel for one night 14th Feb. When we got there we had to park the car in a 24hr car park which cost £10 which was just down the road; has the hotel said it had a car park which it does but only for 7 cars after that was sorted we... More

Lovely staff very friendly. Good breakfast. If you only intend to stay for 1 night then ideal. Little bit out of the way and the bathroom is tiny like a cubicle. That was the big let down for me. Really it's a bed and breakfast which is ok. The price is reasonable. The part of the city it's in is... More

Reasonably priced with reasonable rooms. Location ok but if you want to impress the Mrs this isn't the place for you. Friendly staff to be fair but the friendliness doesn't change the taste of the worst breakfast ever!
