On arrival there was no parking space in car park as there is only room for approx 3 cars so I had to park on a back street in front of someone's house which I was quite worried about. Me and my mum were staying here for the night and booked a twin room however on arrival he disagreed with... More

Outside hotel needs sprucing up as first impression not good however on entering premises found reception area bright and modern as was adjoining breakfast area the room itself was clean and spacious however this could not be said for the bathroom which was a self contained unit in corner of room which just about squeezed in necessary amenities my only... This hotel is horrible and hazardous. First of all, level of cleanliness is very very low. Rooms dusty, toilets smelly. If you smell a duvet cover, you will find out that it is smelly and unwashed with lots of marks. Windows dirty, it seems like never been washed since "hotel" opening. In our room, walls were with strange traces of... More

we arrived here for a three nights stay, a family of four. the 'hotel' has only three or so parking spaces around the back in a dodgy unlit back street. the outside is shabby to say the least, we were 'greeted' by the manager i say manager, i think he is the manager cleaner and cook in the morning !... When I first booked this hotel, it was via the hotel's website, which unfortunately does portray the hotel in a rather better light than the reality. To use the word " Luxury " on the website is extremely misleading and should be amended. Having reviewed some of the comments on Tripadvisor, prior to arriving, I was so concerned, that had... More

What a dump! Overrated, over priced and a sleazy, horrible manager to boot! No parking available. Breakfasts (if you could call it that) was dreadful and unedible. Don't mention the bathroom, what a joke!! And as for the revolting smell in this establishment it should be inspected by a health officer!

We had booked a family room with a cot, when we arrived we were told they only had one cot and someone else had been given it even though our booking confirmation confirmed we'd booked a cot for our 1 YEAR OLD. The man on reception swore infront of my family when he realised that the cot wasn't available and... More

I cannot emphasise enough how terrible this hotel is. If like me, you think this is a cheap and cheerful, no frills hotel in chester PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND DO NOT STAY HERE! I had issues from the start with this hotel, the first of which was with the booking process. I booked through an agency for 22... More

Stayed for 2 nights. Manager argued with some of our group on arrival because HE had mixed up our hen weekend with another one and double-booked! His resolution - up to 5 complete strangers sharing rooms! The hotel is shabby and shady like the manager and it should have been much cheaper. There is a sex shop opposite too -... More

What a terrible hotel. I've never seen anything like the prefab all in one toilet/shower room that was tiny (1 meter square perhaps?). 6 of us returned after day at races at 11:15pm and not one of our 6 keycards for our party worked to get into the side door, and hotel was left unmanned at night. After phoning the... More
