Have just spent a gorgeous weekend in Sark staying at the Aval du Creux. We were so lucky with the weather but luck played no part in the truly wonderful service provided by the staff at the hotel. Everyone from the manager downwards were so welcoming, friendly, helpful and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. We loved it.

Spent three nites at the aval in early sept everything about the hotel was excellent beautiful setting modern facilities and superb staff. From arrival to departure they were top class weather was dreadful wind and rain for three of four days so needed a nice hotel.Sarks vineyards are a must see,and island walks are spectular.

The standard rooms as shown on the website are not all like that. The minute we walked into our room, we requested an upgrade - and were willing to pay for it. Hotel is situated at the top of the hill right next to where you get off the tractor, very convenient. We had an issue with our first room, noisy staircase, and both reception and the manageress dealt with it brilliantly, no quibbles just moved us that day to a wonderful room with a handwritten note apologising.
