Just had a weekend at Clos de vaul Creux to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Amazed at the high quality of the furniture, furnishings, bedding, table ware and etc etc. Beautiful gardens, amazingly extensive and well prepared breakfasts, great hostess and good location.

The only redeeming feature of this place is that at least the owners try hard. Unfortunately, none of what they advertise lives up to the expectations. I have wasted enough time already writing this review. There are many nice places to stay in Sark but I advise for a comfortable and enjoyable stay avoid this place.

I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else on Sark after such an enjoyable Easter weekend. We were aghast at how people have described their stay as idyllic. We had an awful stay here. To describle itself as a boutique hotel, with luxury designed bedrooms and bathrooms was a joke! Just logged on to the website to book this year's return trip and was surprised to see a couple of less that average reviews. During our stay everyone was so very friendly, attentive and helpful. They were knowledgeable about the area and gave good advice on where to go and what to see. Not put off by any negative comments.... More
