A fishing pal and I ate at the Harbour Lights a couple of times when we visited Alderney in April. The food was very good and reasonably priced, and so we decided to stay there when we returned during Alderney week. Our room was fine, the staff very pleasant, but somebody has taken their eye off of the ball with... More

Our steaks are all 8oz and prices are £17.50 for a Ribeye, £17.50 for an Entrecote Au Poivre and £18.50 for a Sirloin or Ribeye with King Prawns. All come with roasted potatoes, confit tomato and salad. I believe our prices are reasonable and highly competitive. If you had raised the issue of the steak being overcooked we could have... More

Second stay here now and all that let it down was the evening meal . It meant we ate elsewhere for our other two nights. The room were clean and tidy and the staff attentive. Breakfast was spot on again

We are a mature couple and from the description in the brochures the Hotel seemed good. We arrived there 4.30 p.m. the room allocated to us was occupied but the Manager said we had been upgraded but the room was not ready due to a power failure. You needed binoculars to see the Seaview! The bed was lumpy and there... More

This mature couple both had sticks and one had a particularly bad knee and could not manage the 10 minute walk to or from town or the 5 minute walk to or from the harbour area. They decided to check into a four star hotel nearer the harbour for the convenience of restaurants being around them and I guess because... More

This hotel is in a great location, with good access to both the beach area and the town. But be prepared for hills. We enjoyed or stay here, although the room was small, it was clean and comfy with a view across the roof tops to the bay. Bathroom was great and very spacious. It could be noisy as we... More

Excellent four course meal £25 a ahead, 'A Taste of Brittany' superb food, excellent value, yet again not disappointed with the dining experience of this venue. Complimented by excellent service which was timely despite an almost full restaurant.

We stayed whilst visiting family on the island. Rooms 13 and 14 were fantastic for the family. Up a private staircase, room with 2 singles on left and double on the right with separate shower and toilet rooms off the landing. This allowed us to be close but also provided space for the kids as well as us.

I stayed for 3 weeks because of work, it was chosen by my place of work & what a great choice. The food was amazing! Honestly, the first night there, I had homemade pate & the pate was kept for me the next evening. The location is perfect, a 5 minute walk to the center of St.Anne's & 3 minutes... More

Compact but comfortable room with a super bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and a piece of art. In the evening we met the owner; a very friendly fellow with some great stories and a magic trick or 3 up his sleeve. Alderney is lovely and the people are all very friendly. The Harbour Lights is a great place to stay... More

Wanted to come up to Alderney for the hillclimb and managed to get one night at this hotel. So glad we did. Steve was a lovely host. Our family room was huge with a lovely bathroom. Very clean. The breakfast in the morning well what can we say one of the best we've had for a long time beautifully presented... More
