We are a mature couple and from the description in the brochures the Hotel seemed good. We arrived there 4.30 p.m. the room allocated to us was occupied but the Manager said we had been upgraded but the room was not ready due to a power failure. You needed binoculars to see the Seaview! The bed was lumpy and there... More

This hotel is in a great location, with good access to both the beach area and the town. But be prepared for hills. We enjoyed or stay here, although the room was small, it was clean and comfy with a view across the roof tops to the bay. Bathroom was great and very spacious. It could be noisy as we... More

Excellent four course meal £25 a ahead, 'A Taste of Brittany' superb food, excellent value, yet again not disappointed with the dining experience of this venue. Complimented by excellent service which was timely despite an almost full restaurant.

We stayed whilst visiting family on the island. Rooms 13 and 14 were fantastic for the family. Up a private staircase, room with 2 singles on left and double on the right with separate shower and toilet rooms off the landing. This allowed us to be close but also provided space for the kids as well as us.

I stayed for 3 weeks because of work, it was chosen by my place of work & what a great choice. The food was amazing! Honestly, the first night there, I had homemade pate & the pate was kept for me the next evening. The location is perfect, a 5 minute walk to the center of St.Anne's & 3 minutes... More

Compact but comfortable room with a super bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and a piece of art. In the evening we met the owner; a very friendly fellow with some great stories and a magic trick or 3 up his sleeve. Alderney is lovely and the people are all very friendly. The Harbour Lights is a great place to stay... More

Wanted to come up to Alderney for the hillclimb and managed to get one night at this hotel. So glad we did. Steve was a lovely host. Our family room was huge with a lovely bathroom. Very clean. The breakfast in the morning well what can we say one of the best we've had for a long time beautifully presented... More

Great value for money. Rooms a bit dated but clean. Breakfast room refurbed so very pleasant. Poached egg done to perfection. Beautiful walk down to Braye Beach but down hill and a bit rugged so not for all. Really friendly staff

Thank you for your very positive and high rated review. I am sorry you found the hotel dated in part as the hotel was only built in 2009 and maintenance is carried out daily. All furniture and furnishings were purchased new and are all of high standard and all the bathrooms are fitted with new top of the range equipment.... More

We have recently spent three nights at the Harbour Lights Hotel in Alderney. We enjoyed our stay very much; the room was comfortable and quiet, and the food was good, particularly the cooked breakfasts. Alderney is a beautiful island and the hotel is situated in a good position to walk more or less anywhere. However, aAs St Anne is up... More
