We booked 2 family rooms for 1 night - as we were attending a wedding nearby. The family rooms were both large and child friendly, and there was no issue with arranging for an extra cot in one of the rooms. It ticks all the boxes for a family friendly stay: plenty of parking for large cars, it has a... More

Robert Setchell cancelled our wedding which had been booked at the Nyton in September 2014. I would not recommend any Bride and Groom book their wedding at this venue. And everyone take note, the Dining Room only has 30 or so covers and weddings with guests much in excess of 30 will struggle to get a viable seating plan because... More

Tucked away between a quiet road and the golf course, this was an excellent base for discovering the many charms of Ely. Owners were charming, we didn't take evening meal here but perhaps we should have. Breakfast was very good if a little disorganized. Room was fine though couldn't turn heater off, owner receptive to comment. Would definitely stay here... More

The Nyton was just what we wanted for an overnight stay in Ely - close to the city centre; friendly owner and staff, spacious family room which was both clean and had a wide range of facilities provided (TV, tea and coffee facilities, iron, hairdryer, bottled water - still and sparkling). Also looked like the bathroom had recently been refurbished... More

I stayed at the Nyton for one night while visiting friends in Ely. I walked from the station - approx 15 minutes. The hotel is in lovely grounds in a quiet area surrounded by high hedges and trees. Checking in and out was effortless and the staff friendly and helpful. Easy access to the hotel if coming back late. Comfortable... More

We enjoyed another excellent meal in the hotel restaraunt Surprisingly there was only one other couple eating so it was a very relaxing and quiet .environment. We all had the stuffed chicken breast for main course, which was excellent. The portion of chicken was generous, and was beautifully cooked, and flavoured. The fresh vegetables were cooked just right and complemented... More

We are locals so only used the restaurant for an annual Christmas meal with a friend. We had been a year ago and enjoyed the experience then and decided to book again this year . We booked early in the Xmas season, and we did have the restataunt to ourselves which was a little unusual , but the owner Robert... More

We booked a family room for a couple of nights; It was a good size room, with comfortable beds. The view was of the beautiful large trees in the surrounding garden, and of Ely's Cathedral. The B&B is conveniently close to the beautiful town of Ely, for visiting the sites and local restaurants. The breakfast was delicious and very welcome... More

Despite some of the more negative reviews, we decided to book in for one night to see Ely. I must say we were pleasantly surprised both by the quality and cleanliness of our twin room overlooking the garden and the good food...both dinner and breakfast. Close to the town and cathedral yet quiet and secluded. Prices were very reasonable, but... More

We stayed for one night last week and what a disappointment, the food was nice, the bedroom was not what we expected. TV wouldn’t work when we asked even the manager could not help, suggested we come down stairs and see the one down there. Not want you would expect from a 4 star accommodation. It was a single room... More
