I do not recommend this B&b for a number of reasons: Firstly, the lady (also the manager) at the front desk was extremely rude and invasive, she at one point, refused to book a room with me because she became impatient. I had no other choice but to book with her due to the fact that there were no other... More

The building and the room was nice. I stayed at a single room with shared bathroom, but since I only stayed for 1 night this was not a big problem. The problem was that the guest house did not accept credit card (only cash) and no wifi. I left around 7.30, before the breakfast was served, so I can't comment... More

I stayed here Tuesday just gone , upon arrival I knocked 4 times in the bell no answer ! I then had to ring the places number an was finally greeted by a woman , she said "you couldn't have knocked 4 times I would have heard" found this incredibly rude what a terrible first impression ! She was blunt... More

We were looking forward to this one night stay, especially as the B&B has a 'breakfast award', but when we arrived, at the ETA we'd given, there was no-one in. We had a drive around and arrived back to find the host at home, said he'd been stuck in traffic. It's Cambridge, therefore busy, and surely a 3pm arrival time... More

I stayed here with my partner last night and have no complaints. Firstly, we received a friendly welcome and then we were showed to our room which was immaculately clean, cosy and had everything we needed. The bathroom was nice and had a good shower. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate available in the room. Good location, easy to find from... More

Recently stayed at Tudor Cottage overnight - was a great stay and will definitely stay there again when in Cambridge next. They made you feel very welcome, the room was small but had everything you could need. Comfy bed, very quiet location but close to town with a bus stop just outside. Breakfast in the morning was my favourite part... More

We visited Cambridge on the weekend of 10-12 October to meet friends and we all stayed at the Tudor Cottage. Having read some of the previous reviews we were a little apprehensive about the welcome we might receive. We need not have worried, the owners were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was on the first floor at the back... More

I, like others on this site, have mixed feelings about this place. I got told to wipe my feet as I entered because I'd been standing in mud... um, I'm a grown up lady and that's kind of a rude thing to be told by someone as the first thing they say. We were shown to our room, which was... More

From the moment we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. Neither me or my husband and ever stayed in a B&B before so felt apprehensive. But boy were we wrong. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel warm and welcomed from the moment we stepped foot inside. The room was really lovely and comfortable. We were worried at first... More

I stayed here one night in July after having attended a conference. The hostess did not in any way make me feel welcome or like a guest. I felt like I was in her way and annoying her. The room was also very small and had a weird smell. This was my first experience at a b&b which I chose... More
