We booked a room here months ago and wanted a twin room. I seem to remember the phone call to the reception was "hard work" and was told that in order to get twin beds I would have to accept a "family room" which I thought was rather odd.Upon our arrival, we discovered that the room consisted of a double... So Pros: All the normal travelodge stuffs which is good. Food was good, although kinda self service so take that as you will, i like it. Everything was clean and tidy. Very well placed for food, central cambridge and train station. Cons: Kinda expensive for the two nights we stayed. A person wasnt at the front desk, but when you... More

So it came to pass that i must go forth and study! Great location - fabulous service front of house! Restaurant was ok- Culinary Standard was fine .....Breakfast was outstanding! Plenty of options!...Evening meal however just required attention to detail when taking the order etc- I ordered...order was read back...informed of a delay with food orders 30 mins...no issue with... We were very disappointed with the room, it was dirty and uncleaned. The kettle was filthy, could not use it, the bathroom was uncleaned the basin had what looked like poo underneath it and the bath had unwashed brown scum around the handles (taken photos). The food was awful (like cardboard) and when we asked for something else that was just... More

We paid £99 per night for our stay in January 2016 which was not cheap at all. There was only one seat in the room which was not enough for two people to share. No fridge was provided. The shower was lack of power and the hose had a water leak so you can imagine the shower experience was really... More

A basic budget hotel that is functional & convenient for an overnight business trip It's only 10 minutes walk from station but not in the direction of the city centre. So if you want to be in the centre of the city choose somewhere else or walk 25 mins or take the bus. However it's clean and comfortable - the... More

Chose this hotel for visiting Addenbrookes hospital. Perfect location. Although there was plenty of restaurants, cinema and bowling within easy walking distance the hotel was very quiet so we were able to get a good night's sleep. The room was modern and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Had the all you can eat breakfast which was good value... More

Not sure what people expect. For £60 I had a nights sleep 25 mins walk into the city, hotel was basic but expected for the price. Did the job. Parking no stress, Ok the hotel doesn't have a car park but there's a multi storey behind!!!!! Also there are plenty of places to eat nearby if needed

The staff are fine. The rooms are large and so are the bathrooms. It's very centrally located and close to a lot of amenities. The breakfast is very good with a wide selection. My only issue is that it is very dated and could do with a massive refurb. However, I'd still go back there.
