This place was really nice and restful, although it does have its drawbacks. The car park was very full when I arrived and there is no local parking apart from metered. Breakfast is served from 7:30 which does not help if you are having early meetings. Having said that the room had a double bed, wifi was adequate, not perfect.... More

The bedroom was fine (though carpets could do with updating, ). The standard of cleaning in the bathroom left a lot to be desired. The tap to turn on the shower was filthy - very off putting. The big let down was the breakfast. It took 45 minutes from ordering until it was brought to our table. I'm sorry to... More

Was seeing a band at a local pub and this was the closest hotel with parking and good reviews. Nice big free car park. Receptionist was very cheery and helpful, she pointed us in right direction of somewhere good to eat. She also gave us wifi details and was very friendly. Common areas and the room were very clean and... More

Ashley Hotel had a great free breakfast, and a nearby B&B serves a good meal. The drive to the hotel was quirky, as it was hard for us to see the sign for the Hotel as you come off of Milton Rd onto Chesterton Rd. It has a good location with respect to Cambridge University and is a good value.

Well after reading reviews we did not know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. Decor I would say suits the style of the building is very well presented but it is not modern, but I like the style. Room was brill very spacious and had everything we would need. Bathroom small but suitable, new and clean. Bed was... More

We stayed here to catch up with friends. There were 3 couples and couldn't fault it. Had its own car park which is definitely a bonus in Cambridge. Rooms were adequate, toiletries and tea making facilities as well as other amenities such as alarm clock, tv, hairdryer etc. Bed was very comfortable and for me was great as I suffer... More

Was a little tired in places however very clean all facilities you could want in a room. Covenient for the town centre get the number two bus easy peasy. The old spring pub over the road really nice. Breakfast was great. Staff very friendly and very accommodating. Would stay again next we are in Cambridge. Good value for money. Plus... More

From previous reviews I was expecting this to be a bit of a dump but fairly convenient to Cambridge, but that is not the case at all. It is true that some of the carpets in the entrance area are a bit tatty but other than that the place is spotless, well furnished and very comfortable. The staff were helpful... More

It is a nice hotel, good breakfast, located not to far from the center, but for sure you need a car to get there; One thing that is not so good, we need to get the key in another hotel, a few blocks from this one. Everything else was quite nice, room was big, clean and enough for one night.

Despite its perhaps tired exterior, the interior is by contrast smart and clean. Our bed (in the Family Room) was so large we almost got lost in it; and the room, along with a fully functioning bathroom, was comfortable, spotless and well-furnished. Despite a rather bossy waitress (“You can’t sit there, there’s no cutlery!”) the full English breakfast was excellent... More
