Stayed for 2 nights here while doing sight seeing in Cambridge. Nice clean double room with modern shower room. Lovely friendly owners and a fabulous generous english breakfast! Other breakfast options also available. Would definately recommend. about 25min walk into the city though which was fine in the day but used a taxi in the evening which cost about £7. more

Our room was the smallest they had, it was perfectly adequate and beautifully decorated. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. We couldn't have asked for anything more. more

I returned last week from staying five weeks at the Victoria B&B while I was a visiting scholar at U. Cambridge. To give some perspective to my experience, I have stayed in approximately 25 B&B's and small hotels in the UK and Europe. This was by far my best experience. Duncan and Emma are absolutely terrific hosts, always greeting me... more

The family who run this place are lovely - I felt very welcomed from the moment I stepped in the door. I was given a map of the town as soon as I arrived. I was staying in a room with no ensuite, but the communal bathroom was spotless. The bed was comfy, the room clean. The breakfast was wonderful... more

We very much enjoyed Emma and Duncan's hospitality during our recent stay in Cambridge. Their B & B is located on a quiet residential street a bit away from the city center. (We walked in twice, which was pleasant, although we could have taken a bus.) The breakfasts were definitely above average, and served in a pleasant, cheery room on... more

I stayed here for a romantic weekend getaway with my boyfriend. The owners were very friendly and the room was lovely, although a little small for 2 people and luggage. We had a double room with shower (the toilets were just up the stairs). The full english breakfast is wonderful and served in a nice dining room. My only complaint... more

A very comfortable and welcoming Guest House with good accommodation and attention to detail. We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed our short stay and excellent breakfast. It is easy to see why this establishment has a 4 diamond rating. more

My teenage daughter and I stayed here a night in early July. It was great; clean, fresh and friendly. The room we stayed in had a newly installed replica arts & crafts fireplace. The owners are investing in the premises and give the definite impression of liking guests and liking their jobs. The breakfast was large, cooked to order, and... more

My husband and I stayed four nights at Victoria House. We got a downstairs front room next to the entrance door and were a bit worried that noise from the road and from people coming and going would keep us awake, but it never was a problem and we slept quite well. The sound proofing of our room door could... more

Emma and Duncan take so much care to make you feel welcome: Duncan's breakfasts are wonderful, beds are comfortable, rooms are clean. I don't know how Emma manages to operate such a well run guest house while looking after the kids, dog and still has time to talk to guests. The only negatives were that not all rooms have ensuites... more
