I'll start with the couple of gripes. We were next to a vent and on the coldest day of the year the gentle breeze was enough to notice but not cause a problem. We ordered 2 Black Angus fillet steaks only to be told there was 1 left! On a Saturday evening at 7.30pm - not good enough! Having said... More

We just dropped in for a bite. The menu looks like real thought has been put into it, and the food was really good. Scallops and pulled pork very nice. Forgot to order chips, and the waiter just went back and fetched us a portion foc. Nice of him and really appreciated. Decor and location really good, and staff worked... More

I had a lovely meal here, the bridge has a fantastic atmsphere and beautiful setting, staff were very friendly, happy and attentive, food was great, and speed of service was good. Will definately return.

I have visited the bridge 2x now and I have never been impressed! We visited on a Sunday at about 5pm, and they had ran out of almost everything you could think of!! After being told everything I wanted had sold out i settled for a mixed grill which is quite honestly the most disappointing plate of food I have... More

I have been to the Bridge twice now in two months taking family. I live in Exeter and visit Ely when I can. The Bridge is in a stunning location which makes you want to experience it, sadly it fails to perform. Inside the pub/restaurant it is nicely laid out and has a welcome feel until the ordering process starts,... More

My husband and I had a meal at the The Bridge Hotel last night. On arrival we asked for a table for two - we was greeted by a harassed short, bald headed well built man who asked abruptly * If we had a booked* . I said *no* and he sprinted us over to a table. The restaurant was... More

We visited today for Sunday lunch and the experience was extremely disappointing. I opted for a Sunday Roast. The meat was dry, the vegetables almost cold and the meal unappetizing. My wife and daughter had a steak. The rocket which accompanied their meals was well past its best. Our deserts included strawberries which were soft and inedible.Needless-to-say we will not... More

On one of our fairly regular jaunts out to eat somewhere new our friends chose the above as it was their turn to pick. Pretty disappointing really. First table was sat at was not terribly clean so we moved to another, it was fairly quiet as it was a Tuesday evening so we found another table with ease. Ordered some... More

Gone down hill over last few years. Ate the yesterday, catalogue of errors. Food ran out. Food cold. Food delivered different that was on the menu. Missing food and waited over 1 1/2 for main meal and it wasn't even busy. Really disappointed
