It is hard to describe the surprise we got upon arriving at our accomadation. We had a front room on the ground floor -thanks so much for that. The room was the best we stayed in over six weeks of travelling France an the UK. It was spacious for a B&B, even the bathroom. The room was beautifully appointed with... More

We had a lovely stay at Lynwood House. Our room (#5) was nicely decorated and provided everything we needed. We very much enjoyed our walks across Jesus Green into the city center, especially the nesting birds we saw along the way. Julie had given us excellent advice on the easiest way to get to Cambridge from Heathrow, and she and... More

Recently stayed at Lynwood House for a one night stay in Cambridge and this place is lovely. Located very close to the city, only a 10 minute walk to the main shopping centre and close to some lovely bars and restaurants. The proprietors are very friendly and helpful, giving us directions and recommendations for places to eat. The rooms are... More

Just left after a family trip to Cambridge and a two night stay in the lovely Lynwood House. My partner & I were in the beautifully decorated room 1 in the front of the house, and my parents behind us in room 2. The lovely owners, Nick & Julie really looked after us, not to mention cooked us delicious breafkast... More

We stayed at Lynwood House last weekend for two nights and were not disappointed. Our room on the ground floor was really nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. Good selection of teas, coffees ( Nespresso machine) and biscuits. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of items and the breakfast room was also very pleasant. Julie and Nick are great hosts... More

Excellent Bed and breakfast, nice spacious room and bathroom with large walk-in shower. high quality facilities (nespresso machine), great breakfast. Ideal for Cambridge beer festival. Front room a bit noisy due to traffic on main road. A bit on the expensive side, though, at £130 per night.

I was in Cambridge for University meetings. My first choice hotels were too expensive, so I looked at B&B. Lynwood House was great. It is spotlessly clean, newly refurbished and about a 15 minute walk from town. The room I had was spacious. It was number 5, at the front of the property. A double bed, tea / coffee facilities,... From arrival to check out, everything was fantastic. The room was beautiful, clean and the owners have an eye for detail: a small book about Cambridge on the table, coffee and tea facilities, very nice! The breakfast is the best I ever had: yoghurts, home made granola, fresh fruits and rhubarb compote and to accompany all this there is a... More

I stayed at Lynwood house with my partner for 2 nights in May 2014. I couldn't find fault. The room was lovely and had everything we could need or want. The owners were friendly and helpful. Our room was very tastefully decorated and both bedroom and bathroom were immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was hot and... More
