This seemed like one of the newest and recently done up Travelodge, staff were relatively friendly (better than most others) and the rooms were up to a high standard. For £22 a night per room, this was absolutely worth it. It even had flat screen TV, something i did not see in any of the other 5 travelodges i stayed... More

No phone in the room. Could hear the plumbing from all the rooms above until 11pm and from 6am. The drain in the bathroom smelled. £7.60 for breakfast is excessive (the latte tasted off). On the plus side, the staff were pleasant and the bed, though ridiculously narrow, was comfortable enough.

The Travelodge room I stayed in was identical to other modern Travelodge rooms I've stayed at. The only thing different was the view out of the window! The room was clean, of a good size, and minimally furnished, which is what I like. It has a small flat screen tv. The toilet/shower room was fine, except it had a nasty... More

We got moved to this as our original travelodge was flooded which was really annoying as it was a significant distance away from where we needed to be. The staff were helpful. The room and hotel was clean. The restaurant attached was actually good but basic quality- certainly better than the usual Little Chef

As previously mentioned the location of this relatively new travelodge is through a housing estate and it sits next to the A14 north of Cambridge. The rooms are typical travelodge - small, basic but clean and functional for a short stay. As this is a relatively new one they are also in decent condition. The staff were of mixed use... More

The cost for a double room over May Bank holiday weekend was only £37 a night, so the message is to book early for a bargain. We thought the staff were particularly friendly and helpful, in a genuine way. The room was clean, very well designed. The nearby road is noise-screened effectively by road barriers and by the travelodge double... More

We stayed for one night and it was one night too many! We paid £52 and we are no fools we were not expecting the Ritz. We have used Travelodges before. This is a relatively new lodge so we wrongly assumed it may be more comfortable. This unfortunately was not true. Read my other reviews. I am not a moaner... More

We stayed for 2 nights over the bank holiday weekend. I think if I had paid a lower price, then I might not make these negative remarks, but it was £70 per night. Our room was extremely basic, we were give only one set of towels even though they were aware the booking was for 2 guests, the room was... More

Situated close to the A14 this is a modern Travelodge. The rooms are a reasonable size but very basic. Sound insulation is poor as you can hear people walking about in the rooms above and doors opening and closing. Although it is close to a busy road there is negligible road noise. It is close to Cambridge town centre and... More

It's cheaper than the adjacent Premier Inn, particularly if you book in advance. Rooms are clean and basic. Staff are un-smiling and un-responsive to anything other than very basic tasks. One member of staff will be serving a long queue of people whilst other staff will stand by gazing into space. Food is ok but like the number of TV... More
