This B&B has some good points and not so good points. We were staying for two nights, it was our sons graduation. So very handy for leaving our car at the front of the house and catching the number 3 bus just around the corner into the town centre. Four spaces at the front of the guest house for cars,... More

My mother and I stayed here last night, in the twin ensuite Room 9 while visiting my brother who is currently living in Cambridge. Although we were unsure what to expect, the lady looking after the guesthouse while the owners are on holiday gave us a very warm welcome and showed us to our room. The room and the bathroom... More

The staff were extremely friendly and were happy to accommodate our requests. The room was very clean and larger than anticipated and the en suite was large enough. The breakfast was also good and it was nice to have a choice of cooked breakfasts and cereals. The location is out of town however there is an accessible bus stop just... More

We travelled from Manchester and arrived very late but the owners sorted us out nicely and waited up for us. We were there for a football trial at Cambridge FC This is a very nice and cosy guest house, where everything is ok, nothing is really bad. Room was nice Bed was more than nice and cosy. Decor was excellent... More

We had a very pleasant visit to this guesthouse. Staff were very helpful, linen was scrupulously clean along with generous towels which were provided. Breakfast extremely good. The building itself needs a coat of paint, but for its location it was just what we needed. Recommend requesting a room at the back of the house, as front rooms are on... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the Acacia B&B Cambridge. Husband and I travelled to Cambridge from N. Ireland with 17 yr old son for Cambridge university open day. The triple room met all of our needs. Entering the room we noticed a lovely fresh clean smell and the bed linen was beautifully white and Hotel standard. Fresh fluffy towels... More

When we arrived, we were well met and it didn't take long before we were in our room. Whenever we had questions, the staff was helpful when it came to finding a solution. Overall they offered great service. Although it’s situated a bit outside city centre, there is a great connection by bus for around £2. One thing; The bathroom... More

I wanted to write this review to redress the balance after some of the previous reviews I'd seen. For a 3-star guesthouse you have to have realistic expectations - and while basic, I found the guesthouse perfectly good in terms of providing a good clean bed, in a warm room, efficient service, and I slept like a log in room... I chose this place because it was close to Addenbrooks. It took just a few minutes to drive to the hospital and the roads were quiet on a weekday morning at 8.30. This is Acacia's main advantage because I wouldn't stay here again. On arrival I had quite a wait before the door was opened and was then subject to... More
