The clarc was an incompetent fool who managed to process my check-in under somebody else's name. This caused a huge and unnecessary delay, as I was forced to appreciate the intricacies of his database software, and the general importance of his job. The rooms were satisfactory. This is very basic accommodation and I would describe it as more like a hostel than a hotel. The rooms were clean but tiny (I hit my head on the TV stand several times!). Have stayed in this hotel several times but the last stay will be our last. Accept that the rooms and bathrooms are small but could not accept the mould on the walls and the dirty floor. Breakfast is still good value and an entertaining view over the comings and goings at the station. more

Excellent value for money and just across the road from the railway station. Efficient, friendly staff. Room spotlessly clean with more extras than I have found in more expensive hotels.
