This was rated highly when I looked however going back to look most of these are annonymous!! AA accredited but OMG probably one of the worst places I have ever stayed. I was quoted one fee and my credit card was charged a more expensive fee without my authorisation. Room was tired and smelly. Bathroom was dated and mould in... More

what can I say... the hotel was dated, reception unmanned 90% of the time even when checking out, there was a box to put the key in, the room was small and bed was ridiculously uncomfortable. breakfast was not included and was an extra £8 per person, the bedroom doors was not self locking so anyone could walk in at... Stayed here with my partner as it was the closest B&B to Addenbrookes where we were visiting a family member. What transpired was quite frankly one of the most miserable, disgusting hotel/hostel experience I have ever had! The room looked like something from the 1970s, the ceilings and walls filthy and the shared bathroom was disgusting - mouldy walls and... More

The room was moldy and the toilets were extremely dirty. The service was poor -- the owner didn't even bother to serve breakfast during the indicated breakfast time. To anyone thinking of staying at the Aylesbury Lodge -- don't! It was the worst experience of my life.

I stayed here on business as I wanted somewhere close to Addenbrookes Hospital - which in deed this 'hotel' was. However that is the only positive thing I can say. It was dirty, the staff unfriendly, it was noisy and all in all a thoroughly unpleasant stay was had! I woke up on the first morning with what looked like... More

For a start the room had a nasty odour hence Pee the bedding itself smelt feisty like damp washing been left too long before drying it. It was very poor value for money and i wouldn't recommend going there to anyone plus i would never stay there again rather sleep in a tent.

This was a last minute company booking and the hotel was on our recommended list. I don't know who would recommend this place or who would say it was 4*. I was met as I checked in by a female. Very scruffy and uninterested. The reception desk was taped together. The room doors had post it's on displaying the room... More

My partner and I stayed for one night and found everything to be perfectly fine with all our needs met. Free parking, great location, and George the owner was very friendly and helpful. Perhaps the decorations are a little bland but we didn't spend much time in the room because we were out doing fun things and not sat around... More

I arranged accommodation for my daughter at Aylesbury Lodge and was promised that she would be well looked after. She arrived late in the evening following her first day in her first job to find that the room allocated to her was dirty, the walls were marked in the bedroom and dirty in the tiny en-suite, bins were unemptied from... The room was full of humity and mold, I had some allergies because of that. The house cleaning was not done, just one time a week. At the end of the holidays, we lacked toilet paper ! The TV didn't work well, clogged sink. The An horrible place, don't stay here !
