I found this hotel on the net as I am doing regular business in this area and needed to find somewhere that I could hold informal meetings. Duxford Lodge is ideal, the room (no 4) was comfortable, the food, particularly breakfast, was good, the bar very comfortable and ideal for informal meetings. They have free wi-fi. Will be back regularly more

I stayed here for 5 odd nights while working in the area. Each time I stayed (except on the last occasion) in Room 9 in the roof of the hotel. This is an executive room. Overall a comfortable and spacious room - bath, no shower - and quiet. Unfortunately the complementary wi-fi is a bit hit and miss and the... more

We stayed here for one night after attending the Last Night of the Proms Concert at Audley End, which is just down the road. Our room on the second floor was very comfortable, with plenty of storage space and a good view of the extensive garden. The large bathroom had everything except a proper shower. There is a wide choice... more

Our rooms are of a very good standard but unfortunately there was a scorch mark on a lamp shade and professional cleaning had failed to remove a red wine stain on the carpet , however I think the bleach stain on the underside of the bed counterpain is due to too vigorous cleaning. As for the food in our Rosette...

Stayed on a Saturday evening with my partner and our 3 year old grandson. Check in was very good and our room #9 was a good size with fold down kids bed and a good bathroom with bath but no shower facility. Dinner was really good. The food was plentiful, tasty and well presented. The little one just had some... more

When I booked a room at this hotel, my husband said `That's odd, they were full a few days ago.' Sure enough - when we arrived, they had us down for the wrong date. Fortunately a room was found, and we settled down, relieved, to rest before dinner. Slowly it began to dawn on us that the room had not been... more

We stayed here a few years back when our son was in a cot, so were glad to return to see if it was as good as we remembered. It only has 11 rooms and seems to be pretty much booked solid in the week with business people, but we managed to get in on a Sunday night. Check in... more

I stayed overnight as the hotel is close to the Eastern Leadership College. The hotel was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The customer service was outstanding, all staff were attentive and pleasant. Three colleagues joined me for dinner, very good with an excellent Malbec at £16.00 a bottle. You must check out the homemade sorbets and ice creams. Breakfast was... more
