This B&B is spotless, offers good value for money, has very friendly staff who make you feel right at home, offers an excellent English Breakfast that caters extremely well for vegetarians, which is an added bonus! If you ever get the chance to visit Cambridge then this place should be at the top of your list!

We stayed in the main house and were very pleased with the room and en-suite which was spotless. Manager was a great help setting us up with a great map to guide us through the sights of Cambridge. Excellent breakfast - with veggie option. We are hoping to return in better weather and will certainly stay here again - will... More

Good thing was you can book in from 12 noon which was handy. We were given a room in the annexe not very impressive although clean and warm it was basic. Very handy for Cambridge town - the walk does not take too long if you are able bodied. Breakfast nice but no frills.

If you accept that a B&B is a B&B is a B&B then this place as B&B as they come. Perfectly good rooms with decent beds and quiet(ish) party walls. Can't honestly get over excited about a place that does what it says on the tin but if you need clean, cheap accommodation near to the centre of Cambridge Acorn... More

Just stayed one night and were allocated a room in the Annexe. Pretty basic and decor looking tired and a bit shabby but at least it was clean. The en suite toilet/shower room was the size of a small wardrobe and you would have trouble swinging anything, let alone a cat!! Central heating was a bit hit or miss and... More

My husband and I stayed one night at the Acorn Guest house with friends. We found the accommodation good value for money: clean rooms, friendly staff, nice breakfast, good location. There is a bus stop 1 minuet walk from the accommodation, which takes you into the city. This proved exelent as there are limited parking spaces and many cyclist.! The bus... More

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was very welcoming and clean a tab bit cramped but they made the most of it and for the area prices were very reasonable. The room was a bit hot but I just slept with the window open. I can't remember the hosts name Michael or Andrew but he was very pleasant and... More

I stayed in a single room in the main building and I was made to feel welcome on arrival. The room was small but clean with an adequate en-suite bathroom - I was sight-seeing so I wasn't in the room much. The breakfast was v good served by friendly staff. For the price of £60 for B&B I thought it... More

I was a little worried after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor, but it wasn't as bad as I feared. There was no parking on the property, but there was a carpark a few doors down, although do check the timing for the parking as there are times that it is for residents only. We had booked 2 family rooms... More
