Modern and clean, nice communal areas. I liked the daily tips on blackboard. Our twin room was tiny, though good to have a sink in it.kitchen could have more/ better utensils and putting up an extractor fan in the kitchen whilst having breakfast wasn't ideal, would have been better if they had waited.most of the staff friendly. Paint work in stairways could be... More

I just stayed two night there and felt safe at night when i back to YHA , also just 5 minute walk to train station you can explore everywhere by bus , walk or train as well , one minor issue was i kept my M&S yogurt at fridge in kitchen for 15 minute , but someone drank my yogurt... More

Very nice hostel near the train station in a quiet residential district, whence you can easily reach the city centre in 20 min by foot. The structure is new and clean, beds are comfortable and endowed of a small light and a useful socket. One of my best stay in hostels. The only negative issue is that the WiFi is... More

Although the location not really close to city center (need to walk for 15mnts), but it really close to the train station. The hostel is so clean as well as the bathroom and the toilet. The room itself, each bed has their own locker, as well as the power plug apart from the plug on the wall, so its more... More

I was visiting Cambridge for the night to visit the Beer Festival and we both just needed somewhere to crash and this was ideal. The check in was very quick and friendly , the room was small but clean and modern with a sink in it and a shared toilet and shower in the corridor outside the room. Breakfast was... More

It's only a five minute walk to the rail station, which is nice. But the walk into town is a bit longer, if you're wanting to see some of the city centre. Value was ok, not the greatest for a hostel. Room was clean and cozy, I believe they had just completed a large renovation. Staff was good. The kitchen... More

This is the cheapest place we could find in Cambridge for our stay. The staff were very welcoming and started helping out by helping us park our car. We had a great breakfast here at good value. Our room (#4) was right on the ground floor and was very basic, but the downside was the noise from the street. Ear... More

Got the last bed in the hostel following a cancellation in September 2014. Externally looks like a trendy bar rather than a youth hostel. Travelling solo got a single bunk in shared dorm room. Good keycard security for internal doors. Beds made up on arrival. Had excellent meal with a couple of beers in very pleasant bar/dining room. Free wifi... More

Warm and friendly, feels like a student cafe with attached bedrooms. Room clean and bright but beware the shower as the hot and cold dial appear to work in reverse. Well situated to the train station but a bit of a hike into town. Hostel good for kids as they can run around as it is spacious. Unsure of Cambridge... More

- friendly helpful staff - clean rooms with warm blanket - every bed has a personal plug and light - breakfast was reasonably priced, beaters coffee though - can only get wifi in the common area - ten minte walk from everything - plus they were giving out birthday cake!
