5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We visited Cambridge after an energetic weekend in London and the youth hostel was perfect. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the hostel was very clean and tidy and breakfast in the morning was nicely set up and tasted great. I would definitely recommend the place to anyone, even if hostels aren't really your scene.

The hostel was pretty basic, but I loved how clean the place was. The showers were spacious too. Staff was helpful and friendly as well. The lady at the counter gave us a map during check in and recommended some places to visit, including the colleges with free entry (Magdalene and Pembroke, if I recall correctly). Would definitely recommend for... More

The price was a bit high for a hostel (£60 for 2 beds in a private room with common bathroom) and be prepared to pay extra for towels, breakfast, lockers. But the staff is really nice, they lend you what you need, the coffee area is lovely and the coffee itself is tasty and it feels very safe and (that... More

Clean, great facilities, friendly welcoming staff. The food was of a really high quality. This is the best YHA stays we have ever had. Easy to find, and walking distance to shops, the centre of Cambridge, and train stations/ bus routes.

The staff were friendly and they served really good food. The overall environment was really good and had a warm and enjoyable atmosphere. The drawback was the slightly small kitchen but overall, it's nice place to stay and I really enjoyed the time at YHA Cambridge.

Since this place was recently renovated it is very nice and updated. Everything was new and clean. I stayed in a private room with my friends so I don't know about the dorm rooms but our room was very small for four people. The beds were quite comfortable though and the bathrooms were just down the hall. Everything was clean... More

Ian the manager, and his staff were most welcoming, friendly and helpful during our 6 night stay, whilst we performed at The Cambridge Corn Exchange. They even did their best to promote the show, displaying flyers and highlighting it on their " What's on" notices. In addition, they and their notice boards are full of suggestions as to how people... More

Premises have all what you need and a massive breakfast it is served every morning. It was very quiet even though was so busy and the most important, the cleanliness. the whole place seems to be... Very clean rooms and helpful staff. Breakfast was good and appropriate for the price. The pizzas in the evening could have been better though! It took only 10-15 minutes to reach the center of Cambridge by foot. Parking during the week might be a problem but we stayed only for a Sunday when parking was free.

I had a great stay at YHA Cambridge. The hostel was very comfortable, clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It's in a great location only a few minutes from the station and into the city. Food was tasty and the self catering areas were nice and modern and kept in very good condition. Overall I think it's... More
