Having just returned from Dubai, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur and stayed in the HIlton, Shangri-la, Marriot and Sofitel, the freshly cooked breakfast in the Bridge beats them all - and then some. And the genuinely friendly service beats all the bowing, scraping and ingratiating of posher hotels. The rooms may be less cavernous but they serve the purpose beautifully... More

Turned up and the owner had popped down to Tesco to get a coffee! Over text we were told to use the 'key under the egg cup' Once in the room was in an okay state. The beds had been changed the floor had been hovered and the TV worked. The bathroom was tiny and it was literally just a... More

£420 for 4 nghts in a guest house that is clean friendly but very basic-charging London prices during the folk festival .When the lady owner is in charge of breakfast it's fine but when her partner is in charge he hasn't got a clue-he won't write orders down and gets himself confused and guests fed up. Think the prices need... More

Stayed two nights at Bridge guest house. Simone was very helpful. Room was clean. Adequate towels for three. Bathroom a bit small but bearable since you don't spend a lot of time there. Location was good. About 30 min to town and 15 min to train station. Overall I would stay here again.

I have just returned from a weekend in Cambridge and we stayed at the Bridge Guest House. It was perfect for what we wanted - we were able to walk in to the city if we wanted and a taxi ride didn't break the bank if we didn't! Our room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The fact... More

We booked three nights selecting this despite some questionable reviews based on its location. Big mistake. The only good thing was that we were able to cancel the second two nights with no penalty since someone else booked it. The room was tiny. The shower was maybe 25 inches square. Drop your soap and you have to squat to pick... More

Just returned from a weekend away in Cambridge,I just had to mention the guest house we stayed in.It was a lovely little place to stay.It was exceptionally clean ,a little dated but the ensuite in the bedroom was large and bright with great mirrors, something some hotels are lacking! The gentleman who ran the place was charming and let us park... More

It is a good value for money if you are not a demanding traveller. As a whole it is very dated. There is a 4-car parking area just outside. The city center is 30' walk. We didn't eat breakfast (additionally charged). Positive things are the efficient heating and the free wi-fi.
