Spotlessly clean and comfortable room and excellent restaurant food. We were also very impressed with the level of courtesy of the staff who were very obliging and helpful - especially Claire in reception. The only downside was the continental breakfast - a full English would be nicer!

This hotel is set within walking distance of the city centre, yet has reasonable large car park behind the building, so good for those us based in the countryside without access to public transport. If you arrive at the station it's about 30 minutes walk, as on other side of the city area. If needed an early departure from Stansted,... More

Love the food at the Arundel House Hotel; two very attractive restaurants there but we particularly like the light and airy Atrium with its lovely view over the well kept, lush garden. Haven't tried the veggie meals but the steak and ale pie is glorious and many of the other meals, including a wonderful quality hamburger, are great. Also love... More

This hotel mostly made me sad because it's such a great location but desperately needs updating and a good deep cleaning. Rooms are dingy with poor temperature control (we were there in March and mostly froze the whole time) and thin walls, the shower was terrible (coooold water), beds uncomfortable, wifi unpredictable. If they update it and clean up the... More

I stayed at the Arundel House for business, because it was recommended by my colleagues and it was close to the office. The location was fantastic (right across the street from the Cam, easy walk to the University campus and to a nice path along the river. It was nice to get up in the morning and go jogging along... Stayed for half-week, my overall impression is "OK" - the reception service is great and helpful, breakfast waiters some great and most hopeless, some rooms are quite noisy, but overall reasonably equipped. Price was OK, considering the hotel is near the Cambridge city centre.

It is really comfortable, and located in a great place. I visited with my family and we had an amazing time. A family room is available if you want to stay together. We had a really good breakfast, and the best toast ever. I will definitely recommend.

this hotel is a prehistoric site. My room wasn't equipped with a shower, only bath, no one hand water mixer, small and thight room. Floors are plenty of doors and stairs, bad to walk in with suitcase. This place is only for lovers of real life museums and experience how to stay about 100 years ago. The price of 130... More
