We needed somewhere in a hurry that was convenient and had a bit of character. This surprisingly large hotel served the purpose on all those fronts; the large parking areas being especially welcome. However, doubtless because of limited availability we ended up with a room in the main building overlooking the road and the Cam/Jesus Green. This had a lovely... More

We had Sunday lunch here with family to celebrate a 60th wedding anniversary. I must say the food was excellent I had the roast beef with all the trimmings and it was cooked to perfection. It is a lovely place to eat and I would thoroughly recommend anyone to try it.

This was my first visit to the hotel and it certainly won't be my last! Myself, my husband and my mother in law went for afternoon tea and it was absolutely beautiful. We had cucumber sandwiches ( with real butter!! ) a selection of cakes and hot scones with jam and clotted cream..... So yummy!! Staff were so attentive and... More

Arrived early and the staff kindly let us leave our luggage whilst we went exploring. The hotel lobby is lovely, it's warm and friendly. Rooms are quite small and lack some amenities, there's no irons in the rooms(they have an ironing room) the tv is attached to the wall parallel to the bed, very strange, beds are comfortable enough Breakfast... I booked this hotel as my daughter is at Magdalene College just round the corner. The hotel is big but has no lift as it is made up of several town houses and lots of staircases in the main building. Having said that it is a very pleasant and clean hotel. The staff are very efficient and moved my parents... More

I would stay at the Arundel again purely on the basis it is a great location for walking into the middle of Cambridge and you have free parking. It’s a picturesque 10 min brisk walk which is absolutely fine and quite enjoyable when the weather is dry. I don’t think the hotel quite justifies its prices apart from its location.... More

This is a seriously large hotel and one of its big advantages is the car parking, with lots of spaces, and staff don't mind you leaving your car there for the day you check out. The hotel is very well located for central Cambridge, only a few minutes walk across the park. The receptionist was extremely friendly and efficient. On... More

I booked the Arundel House Hotel for a one night stay with my partner and overall I was left a little disappointed by my experience. The room was a good size, nice bathroom area and was warm enough, the bed was comfortable. However, the room lacked plug sockets (to charge my phone I had to remove the kettle etc etc)... More

Stayed two nights in this large hotel which is pleasantly located opposite a green & a convenient ten minute walk from the centre of Cambridge. Our room on the ground floor was large with high ceiling, en suite, usual amenities & comfortably furnished. The hotel has a large, comfortable bar & a big light conservatory restaurant with nice staff &... More

We visit Cambridge regularly for work and in the past have stayed at the Unviersity Arms, but this is currently closed following a fire so we relocated to the Arundel House. I am glad we did, as this is a very nice hotel in a great location. Parking is free and wi-fi is good throughout. The conservatory restaurant is lovely... More
