Hotel is 20 mins by car outside Cambridge so about 13 sterling by taxis into town. Quiet location near ring road and has it's own pool and simple spa. Food was reasonable and menus were sufficient for young children. Staff were helpful (breakfast cook was a bit brisk over our 4 day stay though). Receptionists were helpful and professional. You can't really go wrong with a Holiday Inn, you know what you're getting. This one has a slightly country-feel setting, just off major roads and within walking distance (but only just) of Cambridge centre. If breakfast isn't included in your booking, buy a voucher when you check in, it's much cheaper. Only problem we had was noisy guests next... more

if you are looking for a good budget hotel, try this one. It was located in a friendly environment and very peaceful. I was only there for a night. more
